His miniature arsenal includes fragmentary grenades (to inflict Slashing damage), tear gas grenades (to inflict Concuss damage), and smoke grenades (to provide obfuscation) - all working at rank value 30. Helmet: Sidetrack usually wears one of these implements while in the field. This armor plated headgear helps to keep the man alive when he's stalking Cobra operatives, providing him rank value 10 protection against physical assaults that strike him in the cranium. Knives: since he often needs to cut things, Sidetrack carries a few knives at all times. These blades are made from value 40 metals, and can either be used to cut through items of like material value, or let Sidetrack inflict Slashing damage in melee. Laser Pistol: while most of his gear is low-tech, Sidetrack nonetheless wields a product of GI Joe science, a hand-held laser projector. This gun can be used to inflict rank value 6 Armor Piercing Energy damage per blast, and can fire up to ten blasts before it must be recharged. Machine Gun: equipped with a 'scope for a +1 RS to hit in ambushes, this weapon can discharge one round to inflict rank value 6 Piercing damage, a three-round burst to inflict rank value 10 Piercing damage, or be fired continuously to inflict rank value 20 Piercing damage. Sidearm: a handy backup should all his other weaponry fail, Sidetrack keeps this firearm holstered and ready. In combat, he can discharge one round from this weapon to inflict rank value 6 Piercing damage, or a three-round burst to inflict rank value 10 Piercing damage. Tent: useful for sleeping in the field without being eaten alive by bugs or other critters, this small tent is also used by Sidetrack for camouflage. The material and poles used to construct it are of earthy colors, and allow his sleeping form to blend into many natural environs. Quirks: (none) Skills: Advanced Guns: after he joined GI Joe, Sidetrack discovered a whole new arsenal of high tech weaponry that he had only dreamt of. Liking this a lot, he co-opted and mastered the use of advanced, energy-emitting weapons like his laser pistol, which he may use at his Coordination +1 RS. Demolitions: Sidetrack's secondary military specialty involves blowing up things - and how! Military / United States: the ultimate source of all his talents, this skill acts as a handy origin fo sorts for Sidetrack. It describes his instinctual understanding of military protocols and procedures, and offers him several additional military contacts. Survival: another facet of Sidetrack's expertise is that he can scrounge up the food, water, and shelter required to survive in almost any climate. Having had specific training in arctic, jungle, and desert survival, he can get along just fine almost anywhere on earth! He went on countless excursions through hostile locations around the world while growing up, mastering one after the other and enjoying himself all the while. When he finally enlisted, Sidetrack became a survival specialist, allowing him to combine his work and hobby into one package. Sidetrack loves what he does so much that he couldn't help but get even better at it over time, and perfected his unique combat techniques by challenging crocodiles for drinking rights in their own water holes and studying the breathing habits of frogs; it's unorthodox, but seems to work.
