the Forest Fox The Forest Fox is a relatively small GI Joe vehicle that is a member of its BTR (Built To Rule) equipment family. This means that it can be assembled in one of two different configurations in the field, usually only requiring a few minutes of work, and minimum tools. Though plan on a hex key being one of them. The Forest Fox is a forest-colored (green and tan) vehicle that can be configured as either a Jeep ™ or a troop transport, depending on how many Joes you need to move through the woods. It is designed to have these vehicular characteristics in either mode: Autocannons (a): the Forest Fox has four (count 'em) rotary-barreled machine guns. Individually, these guns can fire a short burst of ammunition to inflict one's Agility +6 in damage, raised to their Agility +7 in damage when they are fired continuously. However, this can be increased. In its Transport mode, the Forest Fox can train two guns on a single target, either from the front or the rear of the vehicle. This increases the net damage inflicted by +1, regardless of which mode of fire is being used. In its Jeep ™ mode, the Forest Fox has four front-facing autocannons! Two are mounted in the center and two are usable by each occupant of the vehicle. If two guns are trained on a foe, add +1 to the damage, and if all four are, increase it by +2! Body Armor (s): the Forest Fox is built from durable components, despite being easily reconfigured in the field. The vehicle itself has an effective m.s. of 10, assuming it is assembled correctly, and offers its occupants like, or +2, protection from injury. Communications Array (i): the Forest Fox is equipped with a gigahertz frequency, frequency wobbler clandestine operations radio system. This provides its operators intensity 5 transception (a 25 mile range), that fearues intensity 10 signal encryption. Missile Launchers (i): the Forest Fox is armed with two missile launchers, in Jeep ™ mode they're both front facing, while in Transport mode there's one pointing forward and one pointing backwards. The projectiles it launches inflict intensity 11 damage, +1 if both are used at once. Passengers: the Forest Fox can carry more than one Joe into battle. In its Jeep ™ mode, it has two front-facing seats, which lets the driver carry a spare Joe with him or her. In its Transport mode, the Forest Fox has one front and one rear-facing seat. Propulsion (a): the Forest Fox can move pretty darn fast. It has a top speed of 90 miles per hour in either of its modes, which is intensity 3 movement. It is reduced to intensity 2 (about 60 miles per hour) when going off-road, as its drivers are wont to do. Shape Change (a): the primary design feature of all BTR items, the Forest Fox can serve as one of two different vehicles, depending on its operator's needs. With just a few moments of work in the field, it can be converted between its Jeep ™ and Transport modes (and back again).
