Figurine Melee: RV 10 Coordination: RV 10 Brawn: RV 6 Fortitude: RV 10 Intellect: RV 6 Awareness: RV 20 Willpower: RV 10 Health: 36 Fortune: 36 Lifestyle: RV 6 Repute: RV -2 Origin: Like most super-humans on her world, Figurine is a paranormal, a formerly ordinary person who was forever altered by one of the two Star Brand-induced Events. Granted veritable invisibility after exposure to paradoxical energies, Figurine has fallen in with a rough crowd. Known Powers: Blending: though she's not quite invisible, Figurine comes really, really close. Rendered fully transparent by either the White or Black event, Figurine blends in well with her environment thanks to this rank value 20 ability, with only her outline showing most of the time. Limitations / Enhancements: (none) Equipment: (none) Quirks: Abnormal Apperance: ironically, it is difficult for Figurine to blend in to normal society, even when fully clothed. Unless she covers every inch of her body, it quickly becomes apparent that her exposed skin is nigh-invisible, marking her as a parabnormal. Skills: (none) Contacts: While she's not a physical powerhouse like some of her compatriots, Figurine is a useful member of the Forsaken thanks to her unique power. As such, she can readily consider the group a reliable contact, except perhaps its members whose advances she consistently rebuffs. Costume: None. Due to the nature of Figurine's power, she generally wanders around nude most of the time, the better to remain inconspicuous. This often works against her, however, particularly when she bumbles into the more lecherous members of the Forsaken - or the New York community. Personality: Figurine is a friendly, gregarious young woman. Cheerfully southern, she is proud of her body and likes to show it off since she mostly can without getting arrested. She's fallen in with a violent crowd, however, who are a lot more brutish than she could ever bring herself to be. Real Name: unrevealed Occupation: scout Legal Status: citizen of the United States with a probable criminal record Marital Status: single Alias(es), if any: none Group Affiliation: the Forsaken Height: 5' 7" Hair: unrevealed Eyes: unrevealed Weight: 115 lbs Other Distinguishing Characteristics: Figurine is completely transparent, lacking color whatsoever. While she isn't invisible, she readily blends into her environs, only revealing her outline if she's moving or standing in the open. Story: Much of Figurine's history is a mystery. She speaks with a conspicuous southern drawl, which at least points towards her geographical origins. However, she's revealed little of her background otherwise, aside from the obvious fact that she's an abnormal looking paranormal. Having been changed after one of the two Events that bathed the world in paradoxical energies, Figurine became permanently transparent. While this allowed her to blend into her surroundings, it meant that she couldn't blend into society any longer, and was ostracized as a result. This ultimately made Figurine a target for Judge Mental, leader of a group of paranormals known as the Forsaken. He recruited her as he did most other so-called parabnormals, offering community and fellowship to those who ordinary humanity had rejected for their differences. Happily joining up, Figurine quickly figured out that most of her fellow Forsaken were a lot rougher than she was. But not wanting to be on her own again, Figurine played ball, and would perform whatever odd jobs were required of her by the Judge or his bailiff, Seraph. For instance, when operatives from the National Security Council came calling in the Forsaken's base within Coney Island, the Terminus of their paranormal underground, Figurine was ordered into action. Ambushing one of their number, Playback, Figurine dragged her underground. She was present when Judge Mental tried the three government agents for... reasons, which meant she was there to see Seraph kill Captain Brooklyn when the hero broke into the Terminus to rescue their captives. Disgusted, Figurine fled to avoid vomiting all over everyone. Though horrified by Brooklyn's fate, Figurine nonethelss stood with the Forsaken as they did battle with the man Judge Mental declared to be their greatest foe: Justice. The Judge died shortly after starting that battle, however, and Seraph was slain soon after that. Once the dust settled, Justice remained to help the Forsaken pursue a more peaceful coexistence with the remaining people of New York City. Being one of the less violent members of the group, Figurine likely remained under its new management, though her ultimate fate is unknown. Chronology: Justice # 30, Justice # 31, Justice # 32.
