Origin: Butch Brogan, the one and only Fighting Hobo, is a normal human - at least, as far as special powers are concerned. He has no unique abilities, and is in fact rather ordinary when you get down to it, save for his propensity for poetry and punches. Known Powers: (none) Limitations / Enhancements: (none) Equipment: (none) Quirks: Hardiness: since life as a hobo is hard, it seems to have toughened Butch up considerably. Able to take a beating far beyond what someone of his ability and stature should be able to withstand, his Health score is naturally twenty percent higher than normal. Talents: Martial Arts type B: though his other skills are as of yet unknown, Butch has demonstrated a considerable prowess in unarmed melee combat. He can readily punch, kick, charge, or even bite others as if his Fighting score was +1 CS higher than is listed above. Contacts: Butch has few contacts outside his immediate circle of friends. His fellow tramps hold him in high regard, even if they openly mock his fixation on Shakespeare's work. He did save the wealthy Mrs. Upsnood's dog from dognappers, so she might help him, as well. Costume: Whether active as the Fighting Hobo or simply living as a normal hobo, Butch wears the same, singular outfit. It consists of a ratty, navy blue business suit, incredibly worn black boots of indeterminate composition, and a chewed up straw boater hat with a black band. Personality: Though down on his luck, Butch goes out of his way to help others when he can, whether or not a reward is offered in exchange. Transfixed on the works of Shakespeare after discovering a book of them in a dumpster one day, he can't help but misquote the man at all times. Real Name: Butch Brogan Occupation: none Legal Status: citizen of the United States with no known criminal record Marital Status: unrevealed Alias(es), if any: none Group Affiliation: none Height: unrevealed Hair: black, balding Eyes: brown Weight: unrevealed, but rather portly Other Distinguishing Characteristics: an older man weathered by years of life as a hobo, the portly Butch has a nose that's obviously been broken several times, as well as harsh wrinkles all about his face. Story: Most of Butch Brogan's background is a mystery. A hobo, the man lived on the streets, eking out a life as best as he could under highly diminished circumstances. Butch got by though, and was on relatively good terms with the tramps he shared his back alley with. Something of an oddball amongst his fellows, Butch was changed upon discovering a copy of Shakespeare's works in the dumpster he slept near one fateful day. Reading it from front to back, Butch was moved by the Bard's words, even if he couldn't quote them properly. Though content with his life, Butch was moved into action upon witnessing the dognapping of a wealthy socialite's pet while roaming the streets. Disgusted by this inexplicable act, Butch vowed to return poor Mrs. Upsnood's animal, and stole a motorcycle to chase the thieves down. Smashing his way into their lair, Butch flattened one of the two mooks with one punch, though the other fled in the bike he'd borrowed. Appropriating the criminals' car, then, Butch chased down the second goon and knocked the wind out of him with a head butt to the gut. Dragging the two dognappers to Mrs. Upsnood's house along with her dog, she then called the police. Grateful to Butch after being reunited with her pooch, she gave him a considerable financial reward, along with a kiss. Which, naturally, made him quite the happy hobo. Butch's further activities as the Fighting Hobo, if there were any, have yet to be detailed.
