the Phantom X-19 Stealth Fighter
The Phantom X-19 is a aircraft shrouded in secrecy, and is the source of countless rumors amongst conspiracy theorists and military enthusiasts alike. There's a good reason for that, too: to this day, the government has not acknowledged its existence.
Using leading-edge technology, the X-19 is designed with stealth in mind. It has an aerodynamic frame, radar absorbing paint, internal weapon bays, and many more features to elude even the most advanced methods of detection. It has an m.s. of 10, and these capabilities:
Armored Canopy (s): the Phantom X-19 has a multi-layer, heat-resistant fused silica 'slider' access cover, which provides its pilot and navigator / gunner intensity 12, or +3, body armor while in flight, versus either physical or fire and heat based attack.
Bullseye II Missiles (i): these projectiles are not weapon like the Phantom X-19's Little Guys. Instead, they are computer-controlled, high resolution cameras mounted on rockets supported by gliding wings, allowing a remote peek at almost any target. They fly with intensity 13 speed.
Communications Array (i): the Phantom X-19 is equipped with a gigahertz frequency, frequency wobbler clandestine operations radio system. This makes for intensity 10 communications power (a 1,000 mile range) that features like signal encryption.
Flight (a): the primary purpose of the Phantom X-19 aircraft, it can fly... and fast! It can move in excess of Mach 3 when necessary (2,375 MPH), which is intensity 13 flight. It doesn't always go so fast, but it can definitely do so when the situation demands it.
Invisibility to Infrared and Radiowaves (i): thanks to its radar absorbing shape and 'blackball' paint, as well as its low IR signature ramjet intakes, the Phantom X-19 is invisible to infrared detectors (save from directly behind) at intensity 8, and radar systems at intensity 15.
Laser Cannons (a): these low-noise weapons are twinned, energy-diverting pulse-fire laser emitters. Each pair can be fired to inflict the gunner's Agility +6 in Armor Piercing energy damage per blast, though if both pairs are used at once, this damage is increased to +7.
Little Guy Missiles (i): these twin BY-106 long range air-to-air projectiles can be fired to deadly effect by the Phantom X-19's crew. These super-sonic missiles inflict intensity 11 damage if they hit singly, +1 if both strike a target simultaneously.
Radome (w): this 'early warning' system is mounted on the rear of the Phantom X-19. It absorbs and processes incoming radar pulses, allowing the Phantom X-19's crew to know when people are looking for them (and to track them by their own signals), doing so at intensity 10.
