Origin:

While they possess excellent reflexes and peripheral vision, Decimators are but normal humans. Their only claim to fame is, of course, the Hammerhead assigned to each, a powerfully advanced amphibious vehicle that essentially makes each Decimator count as a high tech villain.

Known Powers:

(none)

Limitations / Enhancements:

(none)

Equipment:

the Hammerhead: the Hammerhead is a powerful amphibious combat vehicle. Each Decimator is issued their very own Hammerhead upon attaining their elite rank, and they (not to mention the small fleet of sub-vehicles attached to each) are described in their own vehicular entry.

Helmet: evocative of the creature their vehicle is named for, the Decimators' helmet has a long, thin visor. This powerful electronic device compresses video of their surroundings such that they effectively provide Circular Vision to their wearer, whether in their vehicle or not.

Additionally, like most helmets, the Decimators' headgear protects their heads from physical injury with Good (10) ability.

Knife: like almost all Cobras, Decimators carry a blade with which they can cut whatever needs cutting. Made from Remarkable (30) m.s. materials, this weapon can slice through items of up to like m.s., given the time, or be used to dish out Edged Attack damage in melee.

Spear Gun: should they have to fight Cobra's enemies outside of their Hammerheads, Decimators carry a spear gun with them on the job. A Decimator may fire each to inflict Good (10) Shooting damage each, and may do so up to three times before they must reload this weapon.

Quirks:

(none)

Talents:

Boating: while the Hammerhead itself doesn't seem to possess buoyancy, all five of its sub-vehicles do. As a result, Decimators are trained in the proper operation and maintenance of sea-going vessels, whether their own or anything else in Cobra's considerable arsenal.

Guns: all Cobra operatives have the ability to wield firearms in combat, and Decimators are no exception to this rule. They may discharge any standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifle or pistol as if their Agility was +1 CS higher than is listed above.

Martial Arts type A or B: furthermore, Decimators are well-versed in the art of self-defense. They either wield type a, allowing them to Slam or Stun foes regardless of their comparative Strength or Endurance, or b, granting them a +1 CS to hit in unarmed combat.

Military: Decimators most definitely have this talent, having proven themselves to Cobra before they acquired this rank. It allows them to function effectively within a combat unit, and gives them insight into Cobra's byzantine organizational structure.

Vehicular Combat: well-versed in vehicle-to-vehicle combat techniques, both on the ground and below the sea, Decimators can make their Hammerheads perform veriable magic in a firefight. They may resolve combat FEAT rolls behind the wheel at the applicable score +1 CS.

Contacts:

More than most members of Cobra can, Decimators may consider their organization a reliable contact. Usually only those Cobras who have proven themselves to the organization can attain this position and the responsibilities inherent to it, after all, so they're in good standing.

Costume:

The striking Decimator uniform includes a black leather jacket, olive drab trousers, light gray boots, black leather gloves, light gray wrist guards, light gray and green boots, light gray belts, a yellow balaclava, and their distinctive silver and black 'hammerhead' helmet.

Notes:

Those Cobras chosen to oversee the operation of its Hammerheads require excellent hand-eye coordination, as well as exceptional peripheral vision. This is because they need superior situational awareness, not to mention the ability to rapidly react as said situation changes.

Furthermore, they must have proven themselves over the course of their membership within the organization, for piloting a Hammerhead is kind of a big deal. Not just a defensive ride like a BUGG, the Hammerhead serves as a mobile undersea base of operations for numerous Cobras.

Should they have all the qualifications, and a Hammerhead finds itself in need of a supervisor, Cobra just might promote one of its operatives into the ranks of the Decimators. In addition to a pay raise and new uniform, each Decimator receives his or her very own Hammerhead!

An elite position within Cobra, the Decimator corps spearhead numerous operations from beneath the waves, and occasionally assist Secto-Vipers as they defend Cobra territory with their BUGGs. It's the rare Cobra who doesn't appreciate having a Decimator covering their backs.

Unless they're looking to bump one off and ultimately take their place, that is!
