Origin:

As is the case with almost all of the other Joes (save for outliers like Robo-Joe and Snake-Eyes), Wreckage is but a normal human. While he may seems preternaturally sneaky, particularly in the bush, Wreckage has no special powers or sci-fi technology to speak of.

Powers:

(none)

Hindrances / Augmentations:

(none)

Equipment:

Explosives (i): not only does Wreckage disarm enemy explosives, but he often sets his own! He carries enough plastic explosives on his person to cause intensity 12 detonations, which will inflict like fragmentary damage on all uncovered targets within near missile distance.

Explosives Kit (i): Wreckage carries a special tool kit in his backpack, that lets him either arm or disarm most explosives and other booby traps. It includes a lot of electrical tools, a few electronic sensors and meters, and spare wire and the like.

Grenades (i): you might be wondering how Wreckage got his name. Naturally, these items have a bit to do with that. He can fling them anywhere within near missile range, and they explode to inflict intensity 10 fragmentary damage to all uncovered targets within that distance.

Knife (s): you never know when you'll need to cut something in the field, whether it be a rope, parachute strap, or a Cobra. Made from m.s. 13 materials, this serrated blade can be used to cut through materials of up to a like strength, or to inflict his Strenght +2 in slashing damage.

Sidearm (a): his primary piece, this weapon is deadly in Wreckage's hands, and a bit more subtle than firing a machine gun. He can either discharge one round with it to inflict his Agility +4 in damage, or a three-round burst to inflict his Agility +5 in damage.

Submachine Gun (a): Wreckage's main weapon in the field is his handy submachine gun. He can discharge one round with it to inflict his Agility +4 in damage, a three-round burst to inflict his Agility +5 in damage, or fire it continuously to inflict his Agility +6 in damage.

Skills:

Boxing (s): mastered during his Basic training, Wreckage has the ability to fight competently, even while unarmed! He may divide his pre-card play action score between two unarmed melee strikes, the second of which he may attempt as a contingent action.

Demolitions (a): his primary military specialty, Wreckage is an EOD operative. He is adept in both arming and disarming various explosives and other booby traps, whether of his own creation or someone else's, and should receive a reduced difficulty on any action required when doing so.

Education (w): Wreckage's secondary military specialty involves educating others, particularly in the art of jungle warfare. He should receive a reduced difficulty on any effort to do so, and Wreckage's lessons tend to stick because he excels in the fine art of 'negative reinforcement'.

Guns (a): as can any other member of the United States armed forces, Wreckage can competently handle most modern firearms. Whether holding a standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifle or pistol, Wreckage may fire the weapon at one difficulty level lower than is usual.

Military / United States (w): the source of all his combat training and marketable skills, this can be considered an origin of sorts for Wreckage. The man knows the SOP like the back of his hand, and can readily lead modern fighting men into battle when necessary.

Stealth (w): Wreckage is an accomplished sneak. He is so good at walking silently and avoiding notice that others are at an increased difficulty to spot him when he's trying to prevent such. This works well alongside ghille suits or other accessories which act to obscure.

Contacts:

Wreckage is a member of the GI Joe team - its Tiger Force, to be specific. He can readily rely upon his fellows for aid in a pinch, as the Joes look after their own. Wreckage also has countless military contacts that he's trained in the past for jungle warfare operations.

Calling:

Mentor: while his teaching methods might be considered unorthodox - if not downright sadistic, Wreckage acts only in the best interests of his many charges. He'll go out of his way to impart his knowledge onto others, to better help them survive down the road.

Costume:

While originally active as Sabre Tooth, Wreckage wore a brighter costume. It consisted of a green shirt with orange 'tiger stripes' over an orange turtle neck, green trousers with orange 'tiger stripes', black belts and web gear, orange leather boots, and an orange balaclava.

Upon resuming the name of Wreckage, he toned his look down a tad. His new field uniform includes a black and green camouflage shirt worn over his orange turtle neck, and similarly colored trousers. He kept his belts and web gear, but now has a light brown balaclava and boots.

Personality:

Dillon is a smart, crafty, and overall paranoid individual. He excels in dirty tricks, as well as teaching others how to both perform and avoid the same - if usually in the most humiliating way possible. While his students may hate him, they definitely remember the lessons Dillon taught them.

Story:

Dillon L. Moreno, the man who came to be known as Wreckage, got his start in the Army's Jungle Warfare Training Center. There, he learned the tricks of the trade from the very best, in time being assigned to serve as the OpFor (Opposing Forces) in training exercises.

Wreckage grew to love this job, as it allowed him to continually tweak and perfect his jungle 'walk' against countless numbers of fresh students. He would often go to great lengths to sneak up on and 'neutralize' trainees in exercises, usually in the most embarrassing way possible.

Notorious throughout the military for his ruthless lessons, Wreckage came to the attention of the GI Joe team when it became apparent that the man was worlds better than the trainees who graduated from his course of terrors - and thus, they opted to recruit him.

Easily making his way through the GI Joe entrance exam, Wreckage was immediately hooked up with the Joe team's Tiger Force. Originally operating under the code name of Sabre Tooth, he eventually decided to just go with the name that everyone already knew him by anyway.

(Historical Divergence)

He's worked with the Joes ever since, at least while the team was active. It's been in varying states of activation since Wreckage first joined GI Joe, though now that Cobra almost took over the world during World War III, it's likely that Wreckage will be a Joe from here on out.

After all, the government has finally learned its lesson in regards to underestimating the threat Cobra poses!
