Like the vast majority of the GI Joe team, Air Raid is but a normal human, lacking special powers of any variety. Aside from some advanced, government-issued hardware, Air Raid only has his wits, his natural ability, and a predilection for advanced tactics with which to fight evil.
Limitations / Enhancements:
Helmet: in addition to protecting his head, providing it rank value 10 protection against physical injury, this gear helps to provide Air Raid breathable air when he's flying (or falling from) so high that the air pressure is too weak to readily support normal respiration.
Knives: Air Raid always has at least one blade on his person at all times, because it's just so useful. His is made from m.v. 40 materials, and can either be used to cut through items of up to like m.v., given the time, or to inflict Slashing damage in melee.
the Sky Patrol Striker: a variation on the classic, Air Raid's Skystriker is a Sky Patrol-themed Skystriker, one upgraded with the latest in stealth technology. This powerful, swing-wing fighter jet is truly majestic in flight, and is described in its own vehicular entry.
Sidearm: lacking larger firepower outside his ride, Air Raid carries at least one backup piece while on the job. He can either discharge one round from this weapon to inflict rank value 6 Piercing damage, or fire a three-round burst to inflict rank value 10 Piercing damage.
Guns: a portion of his standard Air Force training, Air Raid uses this skill both alone and while flying his Sky Patrol Striker. He can fire any standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifle or pistol as though his Coordination was +1 RS higher than listed above.
Martial Arts type B: essential military training, Air Raid has learned how to defend himself should he find himself without weaponry. When attempting any unarmed strike (punches, kicks, etc.), Air Raid may do so as if his Melee trait was +1 RS in value.
Military / United States: the product of numerous Air Force academies, Air Raid has an instinctual mastery of this talent. As a result, he possesses a natural understanding of military policies and procedures, and can function within a military unit effortlessly.
Piloting: his claim to fame, Air Raid is a first-rate test pilot. He can operate just about anything that flies, from fixed-wing aircraft to swing-wing fighters to helicopters. When flying any aircraft, Air Raid may resolve required Handling ACTIONs with a +1 RS bonus.
As a member of the GI Joe team, albeit a relatively new one, Air Raid may consider that organization a reliable contact, as its members are very loyal to each other. Furthermore, he has countless additional military contacts thanks to his time as an Air Force test pilot.
Air Raid's GI Joe field uniform includes a sky blue jacket with gray shoulder pads, sky blue trousers featuring gray thigh padding, black leather boots and, a black leather belt, black and gray web gear, black and gray equipment pouches, and a blue visored helmet.
Possessing a keen analytical mind, Benjamin is an excellent test pilot because he keeps the inherent risks of his job front and center in his mind. Fastidious and possessing a powerful sense of self-preservation, he will readily bail to safety if his current ride proves too dangerous.

Born in Anapolis, Maryland, Air Raid always wished to fly. Enlisting as soon as he could, this bright young man quickly found himself where he wanted to be in life, and graduated from Officer Training School at Montgomery, Alabama's Maxwell Air Force Base.
After subsequently graduating from Advanced Flight Training, Air Raid's career quickly took off, his keen analytical brain and sharp reflexes combining to produce a test pilot with the ability to rapidly adapt to a variety of experimental air frames and aerospace weapon systems.
This proved attractive to recruiters on the GI Joe team, whose arsenal of aircraft range from proven fighters to downright bizarre experiments. Inviting him to the party, these recruiters allowed Air Raid to attempt the GI Joe entrance exam, and what do you know, he passed!
Quickly shunted to the GI Joe team's Sky Patrol, Air Raid was given their new baby, the Sky Patrol Striker, to fly. While based on the venerable F-15, this Striker has been augmented with both modernized aeronautics and the Sky Patrol's chromium-based stealth technology.
Air Raid continues to serve the GI Joe team, and by extension his country, in this capacity to this very day.
