Story:

Born in Anapolis, Maryland, Air Raid always wished to fly. Enlisting as soon as he could, this bright young man quickly found himself where he wanted to be in life, and graduated from Officer Training School at Montgomery, Alabama's Maxwell Air Force Base.

After subsequently graduating from Advanced Flight Training, Air Raid's career quickly took off, his keen analytical brain and sharp reflexes combining to produce a test pilot with the ability to rapidly adapt to a variety of experimental air frames and aerospace weapon systems.

This proved attractive to recruiters on the GI Joe team, whose arsenal of aircraft range from proven fighters to downright bizarre experiments. Inviting him to the party, these recruiters allowed Air Raid to attempt the GI Joe entrance exam, and what do you know, he passed!

Quickly shunted to the GI Joe team's Sky Patrol, Air Raid was given their new baby, the Sky Patrol Striker, to fly. While based on the venerable F-15, this Striker has been augmented with both modernized aeronautics and the Sky Patrol's chromium-based stealth technology.

Air Raid continues to serve the GI Joe team, and by extension his country, in this capacity to this very day.
