Medicine / Pediatrics (i): a well-respected pediatrician, Michael doesn't just call himself a doctor. He resolves medical card play at a reduced difficulty, and may resusucitate anyone who has passed within the last five exchanges, given the opportunity.

It's quite possible that Michael has numerous medical professionals from the practice he worked within that he can consider contacts, though they have yet to be revealed. Both his wife and his Central Intelligence Agency benefactors might be more reliable, however.

Though he possesses a particularly horrific parability, Michael doesn't consider himself an adventurer. He simply wears conventional business attire while going about his day, including a button-down collared shirt and a tie - even after he hid away from humanity.

Story:

Respected in his community, Dr. Michael Rabinowitz was a happily married man, one who yearned to have children of his own one day. While he had anger control issues, he mostly kept a lid on them, and was otherwise a pillar of his community. At least until the change occurred.

A late bloomer where paranormals are concerned, Michael didn't manifest powers until well after the White Event and the Black Event forever altered the course of world history. In fact, Michael's parability never saw cause to manifest, at least until he was mugged one fateful night!

Overwhelmed with fury as some random thug pulled a knife on him, Michael raged until his hatred poured out of him, seemingly from his very soul, and washed over his assailant. His anger made manifest, this strange power consumed his foe, leaving only charred bones and ash.

Mortified, Michael fled, and when he woke the next morning he was able to delude himself into thinking he'd imagined the whole thing. This continued until it happened a second time, when while walking along with his wife, Veronica, he caught violent thugs loitering by his his car.

Confronting them, Michael was threatened by the goons, but he was more aware of what was going on this time around. Studying his chief antagonist as his fury poured out and flowed over him, Michael watched as the punk was consumed, leaving only crumbling remains behind.

As his vicitm's accomplices fled, Michael collapsed before his corpse, watching it break down before his very eyes. As Veronica somehow didn't connect what had happened with him, Michael fled the scene with her, and the two tried to forget what they had witnessed that night.

Michael ultimately couldn't, however, and tried talking to a psychiatrist abou what had been happening to him. This went poorly, as when the professional tried to tell Michael what he had described wasn't real, his fury built until his power struck his doctor down as well.

Running away, Michael drive off, but in his agitated state his road rage caused his power to reach out and murder hostile drivers on the road! Despondent, Michael pulled over and collapsed on the road in the hope that cars passing by would run him down, before he finally passed out.

Waking up in the hospital, Michael begged Veronica to leave his room, lest he harm her as well, and as soon as he could he fled from his former life forever. Holing up in a remote cabin, he tried to avoid others so he wouldn't kill anyone else, but things didn't go his way.

In time, Michael was approached by operatives of the Central Intelligence Agency, who were always looking for paranormals to do their bidding. They knew about his power, and the deaths associated with it, but they didn't care - they had an offer to make the poor man.

However, what Michael has gotten up to with the CIA to date has yet to be revealed.
