Origin:

Forever changed by the paradoxical energies unleashed upon the world during the White Event, Rodney Jung developed insidious powers which he use against his fellow man. Aside from his hands, where his tiny quills are situated, he appears to be outwardly normal.

Known Powers:

Poison: his primary power, Rodney's body generates a highly addictive substance, which acts 1d10 minutes after he injects it into their bloodstream. Those exposed to it must pass an Endurance ACTION against Remarkable (30) rank or find themselves dependent on it.

Quills: housed in the palms of his hands, Rodney can use these physical weapons to inject his poison into his chosen victims. They are so small that their use can easily go unnoticed, requiring a successful yellow Intuition ACTION to perceive them when wielded on onself.

Equipment:

Pistol: kept on hand should any of his 'customers' get unruly, Rodney keeps this weapon in his desk. He can discharge one round from this firearm to inflict Typical (6) Shooting damage, or a semi-automatic burst of such to inflict Good (10) Shooting damage.

Quirks:

Dulled Sense / Vision: Rodney wears a large pair of round-rimmed spectacles at all times, and not just for a fashion statement. His vision is awful, frankly, and without his eyewear he suffers a -2 CS penalty to every sight-based ACTION roll that he attempts.

Talents:

Business / Finance: the owner and operator of a legitimate business, Rod's Bods, Rodney presumably has this talent - even if it's been learned through trial and error. He may resolve ACTIONs related to business acumen and/or financial management with a +1 CS bonus.

Repair / Tinkering: his primary source of income, Rodney works in the automotive repair business he owns. He should receive a +1 CS bonus on any attempt he makes to repair or modify any existing item, whether mechanical or electronic in nature, if not when building them.

Contacts:

For the most part, Rodney doesn't seem to have many contacts he can rely on, but then he mostly runs his criminal enterprise all by himself. His daughter works for him, however, and would happily assist him in most mundane matters - if not his distressing drug business.

Costume:

While he is a super-powered criminal, technically speaking, Rodney thinks of himself more as a businessman. As such, he typically wears a suit while going about his day, unless of course he's hip deep in an engine rebuild, at which point he wears more appropriate attire.

Personality:

Rodney works hard to support himself and his daughter, doing everything he can to keep what's left of his family afloat. He has absolutely no qualms about inflicting great suffering on others, or even causing their untimely deaths, when attempting to do so, however

Story:

Rodney Jung was an ordinary man who was just trying to do right by his family, even if part of said family wasn't helping very much. You see, his marriage ultimately fell apart, and when his wife divorced him, she looted his daughter's college fund on her way out the door.

Not wanting his only child's dreams to be ruined, Rodney redoubled his efforts at his business, Rod's Bods, where his daughter frequently helped him with automotive repairs. Things changed somewhat after the White Event, however, when Rodney's life was forever altered.

The paradoxical energies that bathed his world granted Rodney the bizarre power to generate a highly addictive substance, which he could inject into others through his hands. Seeing an opportunity, he began hitting the clubs, surreptitiously exposing others to his toxin.

Of course, he made sure to let them know where they could get another hit, and to bring cash. In this way, Rodney began to refill his daughter's college fund, heedless of how many peoples' lives he destroyed, or even outright ended, in the process of doing so.

This ultimately attracted the attention of John Tensen, the so-called Justice Killer, as he crossed the nation. Catching up to Rodney shortly after he victimized another young woman at Club 69, Justice blew in the wall of his Rod's Bods and confronted the man.

Rodney pulled his piece on Justice and tried to defend himself, but he was no match for the incredibly powerful paranormal serial killer, and was quickly disintegrated by the man's sword arm. His business then burned down as as a result of the battle between the two paranormals.

Justice at least rescued Rodney's daughter from the conflagration, however, giving her a bit of closer by letting her believe she, in turn, killed him. Kind of, anyway. But at the very least, she could use the insurance money from the fire to pay for her college courses.
