Origin:

Donner Kopf is a cyborg, an otherwise ordinary human with an impressive implant that grants him his super human abilities. This implant, known as a MAX device, appears to be an application of the revolutionary heuristics technology developed by the late Doctor Swensen.

Known Powers:

(none)

Cybernetics:

MAX Implant: a significant portion of Donner Kopf's throat has been replaced with an artificial implant, an implant that allows him to amplify the volume of his voice to an astounding degree. And he even has some control over the output of the implant, too.

For instance, while the amplification is active, Donner Kopf can merely whisper to inflict rank value 30 Force damage with the force of his voice. He can boost this to rank value 50 by shouting. Victims hit by this blast must pass a Fortitude ACT against the damage taken.

Failing this ACT indicates that the target has been stunned for 1d10 turns, and may very well have suffered some sort of ear damage (usually noted by the bleeding ears left in Donner Kopf's wake). The implant also has several ... other uses, too.

Donner Kopf can also attenuate the column of audio force to act as a disruptor beam, shaking loose the atomic bonds of things that it hits. He can do this at rank value 30, and the target will start to dissolve unless it can resist this power.

Living targets are allowed a Fortitude ACT; failing this indicates that the target takes power rank value Metabolic damage with each hit, and he or she will not dissolve until all their Health is gone. Inanimate targets merely get one ACT roll versus breaking.

This ACT is also made versus rank value 30 intensity.

Donner Kopf's MAX may also be used as a transceiver for communications with Babel, the Medusa Web team leader. He can keep in touch with his boss with rank value 20 range, or for as long as Babel is within 100 miles of his person.

Implant Psychosis Statistic: rank value 4.

Limitations / Enhancements:

Implant Psychosis Statistic: as a cyborg, Donner Kopf is subject to the problem of implant psychosis. Under duress, he must pass a Willpower ACT roll against his IPS, or will suffer from extreme mental instability for a time - usually until he next falls unconscious.

This instability can take almost any form, but since Donner Kopf is usually quite reserved and in control, he may well lose his restraint in all things. When subject to IPS, Donner Kopf must pass a Willpower ACT roll at -4 RS lest he act as if suffering from the Impulsiveness 2 quirk.

Equipment:

Quirks:

Skills:

Detective / Espionage: Donner Kopf has some expertise in surveillance missions, and is often sent in on Medusa Web operations where this is required. He has the skill and the patience for it, after all. He can make espionage ACT rolls at a +1 RS to the applicable trait.

Languages / English and German: Donner Kopf, though a native German, can speak English as well as his native tongue. However, he does so with quite a heavy accent, one that shines through both his speech and the use of his Max implant.

Martial Arts style A: well trained in self-defense, Donner Kopf can dodge and weave at a +1 RS to his Coordination. Furthermore, he can Pound or Concuss an opponent regardless of the comparative difference in Brawn and Fortitude between him and his foe.

Contacts:

Donner Kopf is one of the most reliable members of the Medusa Web, and as such, can probably rely on them in turn for assistance should he need it, unless the Web has a darn good reason to leave him for dead. Level-headed super-operatives are hard to find, after all.

Costume:

Donner Kopf doesn't really wear a costume in battle, instead just wearing casual clothes. Usually a conventional pair of pants (either jeans or trousers, depending), a short sleeved, collared shirt, a black leather belt, and brown leather boots.

Personality:

Donner Kopf is a man that truly believes that the Medusa Web is performing a good service to mankind, even if they don't know it yet. As such, he usually does whatever Babel asks of him without question, unless such an action would be overtly sinister in purpose.

Other Distinguishing Characteristics: that there cybernetic thingus in his throat tends to attract undue attention.

Story:

The full background of the man calling himself Donner Kopf is unknown, as is the origin of his impressive cybernetic implants. Though it is made from MAX technology, the government made great pains to keep this sort of technology out of the hands of, oh, everyone really.

It is known, however, that he joined the Medusa Web because he truly believes that Babel's ultimate goal of global unification is important work, and that it is the only way to save the people of earth from themselves. And of course it pays good, too!

At any rate, Donner Kopf was one of the first members of the Medusa Web to come into conflict with Psi-Force, as he was sent with Imprint, Backfire, and Electrique to retrieve Wayne Tucker in Seattle, after the team was split up by the surprise attack of Rodstvow.

Of course, their capture of the telepath was interrupted by two other paranormals: Tyrone Jessup (also of Psi-Force), and Lindsey Falmon (who was about to hook up with 'em). They roughed the Web agents up pretty good, and Donner Kopf's implant got blown up.

He got it fixed in a jiffy, though, and proceeded to follow his fellows in the pursuit of those Psi-Force teens as they fled into Canada. By this time, however, the Web had had a sort of falling out with the US government, and Donner Kopf's mission had changed somewhat.

He and the Web agents with him were to recruit the Psi-Force kids into the Web, instead of trying to capture them. In the process of doing this, the kids were attacked by a CIA agent in the Spitfire armor, and the Medusa Web had to come to the rescue.

After all, if the psionic teens were dead, it'd be hard to recruit them, now, wouldn't it?

Donner Kopf and company turned the table in the teens' battle with this new Spitfire, and the two groups split up on friendly terms. Not the end that Babel wanted, but it was better than making enemies of Psi-Force. Of course, the Web got another chance later on.

They went out a year later to save Psi-Force from the Siberian Project, a Soviet facility that studied paranormals - however necessary - to better understand their powers. Psi-Force had been captured by Rodstvow, and the Web was sent by Babel to free them.

Donner Kopf was there during this battle, and he helped the assembled paranormals to finally kill Rodstvow after Psi-Force had been liberated. Donner Kopf's activities after this point are still unknown, but he is assumed to have been active during the War, along with the rest of the Web.
