Origin:

The Troublemaker is a paranormal, an altered human who gained his powers during the White Event, an astronomical incident that forever set his world apart from our reality. His powers are rather physical in nature, as opposed to most of the paranormals he winds up fighting.

Known Powers:

Quadruple Jointed Bone Structure: this unique parability has rendered Troublemaker supremely flexible, as all of his joints are essentially ball joints. This grants him several handy bonuses while he's involved in any sort of fight.

For one thing, when fighting opponents not aware of his motive range, Troublemaker receives a +2 RS on his attack rolls during the first round of combat, and a +1 RS for the next four rounds of battle (or throughout one's initial encounter with Troublemaker, while applicable).

This represents the amount of time it takes an opponent to adjust to Troublemaker's unique fighting style, which involves kicks, punches, and flips that are seemingly impossible, and look quite painful without knowing his 'trick' (what with elbows and knee joints bend backwards, etc.).

Limitations / Enhancements:

(none)

Equipment:

Comm Gear: Troublemaker always wears an advanced headset (transmits / receives audio, only transmits video) on scouting missions with Imprint, so he can keep in touch with the man (and Babel) on the job. This equipment has rank value 20 communications range (100 miles).

Quirks:

Bluntness: Troublemaker is a terminal smart mouth, and he just can't shut up. He's constantly cracking bad jokes and insulting his opponents, pushing all their buttons. He must pass a Willpower ACT at -2 RS to force himself to shut up, should he need to for some reason.

Skills:

Acrobatics 2: Troublemaker is incredibly agile (if not quite as much as Gatto di Sangue), and attempts all dodge, escape, evade, feint, and weave maneuvers at a +2 RS. Of course, simply using this skill causes people around him to wince in horror at his movements.

Detective / Espionage: Troublemaker excels at surveillance missions, as well as simply digging up dirt on people. However, he prefers to get information from people more... directly. He may add a +1 RS to any ACT roll related to sleuthing or spying activities.

Martial Arts styles A, B, C, D, and E: Troublemaker's parability lends itself to scrapping more than anything else. Extremely effective in combat, Troublemaker has the benefits of all five of these fighting styles, which makes him considerably difficult to defeat.

Tumbling 3: being flexible and possessing cat-like reflexes, Troublemaker can attempt a Coordination ACT, at +3 RS, to land feet first after any fall that doesn't inflict damage. Of course, in his case, such a fall is any that is less than three stories in height - he's that flexible!

Contacts:

Troublemaker is a vital member of the Medusa Web, and as such, he can rely on them for help should he ever find himself in serious need of it. If he were to suddenly not be available to the Web, their information gathering missions would become much more difficult, after all.

Costume:

Usually, Troublemaker goes into combat in a rather relaxed collection of clothes. For instance, he'll typically be seen wearing a pair of sneakers, baggy sweat pants, and a loose sweat shirt. This is to accommodate his unique physiology, and to allow him maximum flexibility in combat.

Personality:

The Troublemaker is a smooth professional, either in or out of battle. He knows what his job is, and he goes about it in the most efficient (and fun) manner possible. And he loves to run his mouth off, whether he's in a fight or doing just about anything else, which tends to ruffle others' feathers.

Story:

Nobody knows anything about the background of Troublemaker, and that's just the way he likes it. In fact, absolutely nothing is known about the quadruple jointed man, other than the fact that he's a member of the Medusa Web. And a very valuable one, at that.

This is because he does a large portion of their scouting missions, especially those that involve potential recruits. For instance, he did an extensive job involving the Psi-Force youths a while back, shortly before they were split up by the surprise attack of Rodstvow.

He did a serious background check on the psionic teens, and did some 'personal' information gathering with Imprint, which resulted in his getting beaten to a pulp by Psi-Force member Thomas Boyd. Anastasia Inyushin patched him up afterwards, but he still got his butt kicked.

Troublemaker also participated in the Medusa Web's capture of half of the psionic youths in the Horton Plaza, a big San Diego mall that Psi-Force was hiding out in. He had to fight Boyd again, and Boyd easily ditched the quadruple-jointed man a second time.

His next mission saw Troublemaker working with Skybreaker and Potiphar in an attempt to seize the Mark 3 MAX armor's schematics, then being held within a Canadian holding facility. This work required the use of Jake Travest, who was terminated once the mission was complete.

Troublemaker was next seen during the liberation of Psi-Force from the Siberian Project, a Soviet facility dedicated to the study of paranormal powers. Psi-Force had been captured by Rodstvow in Washington DC (after their fight trashed the place) and the Medusa Web wanted them.

Well, wanted them to join the Medusa Web, of course. So, the Medusa Web had to fight Rodstvow with Psi-Force (since he lived in the Project), and this battle caused some severe damage to members of both teams. Of course, the good guys won in the end.

After that, the Web managed to recruit Psi-Force, and both groups were active during the War, pretty much holding the world together while it tried to tear itself apart. The Troublemaker was presumably a part of this action, but his part in these tales was never told.
