Origin:
She who has become Zara is a normal human. Well maybe abnormal, in that she grew up alone in the Jungle, learning how to survive however she could - with nothing to rely on but her own, natural ability... and her trusty, self-made bow and arrows, of course.
Powers:
(none)
Hindrances / Augmentations:
(none)
Equipment:
Bow & Arrow (a): Zara has a bow that she made herself. She can fire arrows with it that inflict +3 damage with each deadly shot, either to attack would-be villains or to perform trick shots. She usually has a quiver with two dozen arrows handy, for extended fights.
Skills:
Acrobatics (a): having grown up in the jungle, Zara is proficient in tumbling maneuvers, walking across thin branches, swinging along vines, and so on. Also, this allows her to reduce the difficulty of any dodges or maneuvers to reduce falling damage.
Archery (a): a demon with the bow, Zara can use it to perform all manner of tricks, from knocking items out of a body's hands, to pinning their clothing to a convenient tree, or even shooting people! She makes bow attacks at one difficulty level lower than is normally required.
Survival (w): having raised herself in the wilds of the jungle, Zara can easily survive there, drawing everything she needs to continue her existence from the land. It is presumed that, resourceful as she is, she could do so in virtually any environment.
Contacts:
Captain Jeff Graves could be considered a contact, as Zara has saved his sorry self on numerous occasions, and she could conceivably receive help from him should she need it. Unless, of course, he turns out to be an ungrateful jerk.
Calling:
Guardian: Zara is exceptionally protective of her wilderness homeland, and does everything she can to save it from the depredations of anybody that would use or abuse it needlessly. This seems to include helping dim-witted tourists escape from natural hazards.
Costume:
Zara wears a leopard-skin one-piece outfit. The top only drapes over one shoulder, while the bottom is a low-cut piece that covers her vitals, and about two inches of thigh. In other words, it's the stereotypical jungle heroine costume.
Personality:
Zara seemed to care about the Jungle, and the people that lived in it. She did her best to help protect people from its inherent dangers, or from the evils that menaced it. This, of course, included foolish people who made a habit of ignoring her advice.

Story:
Zara of the Jungle was brought to the Jungle by her parents, who were absolutely tired of the crime inherent to the 'civilized' world. However they died soon after their arrival, and Zara was left to grow up in the Jungle as an orphan - and completely untamed.
Enter the current situation.
In the middle of a war between two Jungle tribes, Captain Jeff Graves attempts to stop the conflict somehow. Upon entering the wild, he is quickly pounced upon by a deadly lion, which he dispatches with apparent ease. He eventually makes his way to a village, though nobody is there.
Well, nobody living, anyway; everyone was dead. Investigating the carnage (possibly for loot), the Captain finds a spent ammunition cartridge, at which point Zara of the Jungle swings from the trees at him. Landing right in front of the man, Zara tries to warn the naive Captain off.
He ignores her, and is subsequently jumped by a gaggle of natives. Defeating them with a handy spear, he follows those that survive until falling into a pit trap, at which point he is seized - and taken before Bwana Gombo, the non-native fellow stirring up this unrest.
When Gombo orders Graves killed, Zara appears from nowhere and saves the impudent man, shooting his would be killer with an arrow. Freeing him with another, she takes her victim's gun while Graves himself punches Gombo out and subsequently delivers him to tribal authorities.
After this, Graves tended to work with Zara as a partner or... side kick, perhaps. They would go after all manner of criminals spoiling Zara's jungle home, including an Arab slave trade ring, though most of their colorful adventures have yet to be chronicled.
