Story:
When his father was sentenced to die in the electric chair, young Larry Scott found himself with a problem. You see, he knew for a fact that his father was innocent, and raced against time to stop the execution before it was too late. Sadly, however, he failed in his act of mercy.
When his father was executed, Larry cursed himself for being too slow, and vowed to make time work against criminals, instead of the innocent. He accomplished this by assuming an identity themed on Father Time, and went by that name when he began to chase down criminals.
Wading into the criminal underworld with nothing but his fists, his wits, and a sharpened scythe to fight evil, Larry made it his mission to punish the criminals that the forces of law and order seemed so impotent against. And he dealt with a whole lot of them.
In his very first outing as a costumed vigilante, Larry took on a large gaggle of mobsters. Encouraged by his success in this, he continued his crusade against criminal scum, and not only chased down even more mobsters, but dealt with a gang of bank robbers afterwards.
Larry continued fighting criminal reprobates by his lonesome until shortly after the beginning of World War II, where he was inducted into the military's Crazy Sues program. For quite some time, Larry fought various fascists alongside his fellow heroes at the behest of the Army.
Eventually returning to the States after a long stint with the Sues, Larry resumed his one-man war on crime for as long as he was able.
