RV +10 *
* Amongst humans, at least. RV +50 amongst fellow Autobots, RV -50 amongst Predacons / Decepticons / Vehicons.
Like his two brothers, as well as the rest of the Autobots on earth, Side Burn is an electromechanical being from Cybertron, a robot that strives to prevent Decepticon dominion of the universe. This alien may also be from another time period, making him doubly out of place on earth.
Cybertronian Physique: like his fellow Autobots, Side Burn is a robotic entity of Cybertronian origin. As such, this high speed warrior has, by his very nature, the use of a large variety of abilities that reflect this. His very body gives Side Burn these super-human powers:
* Body Armor: made (or formed) from primarily metallic materials, Side Burn is considerably durable. His sturdy, inorganic composition affords him rank value 10 protection from attack, enough to shrug off most basic human assaults. Side Burn's armor breaks down as follows:
RV 10 / RV 4 / RV 0 / RV 0 / RV 0
* Growth: Cybertronians come in all manner of sizes, few of which align with the human norm. Side Burn, for instance, stands at approximately eighteen feet tall in his humanoid mode, which grants him this power at rank value 6 as a general matter of course.
As such, this youthful Autobot possesses a +1 size factor. He thus suffers a -1 RS when targeting human-sized foes, but gains a +1 RS on any damage he inflicts against them, as well as 1 RS of damage reduction against any attacks they, in turn, launch against him.
* Microscopic / Telescopic Vision: all Transformers have the ability to alter their visual sensitivity where distance is concerned. Functioning at rank value 2, these powers let Side Burn see objects up to a mile distant with ease, as well as allowing him to read items on microfiche.
* Radio Transceiver: as are most Transformers on earth, Side Burn is equipped with an audio / video transmission system. This communications rig allows him instant contact with any other nearby Cybertronians, having rank value 20 range (100 miles).
* Resistance / Invulnerability to Disease and Poison: as an inorganic life form, Side Burn possesses complete immunity to poisons and organic diseases. He also possesses rank value 100 resistance to more chemically creative forms of disease.
Clinging: a curious power that Side Burn wields, one usually only possessed by the Spychangers, is his ability to drive on any solid surface regardless of its orientation. Of course, he can only use this rank value 50 power in his Dodge Viper mode.
Exhaust Bowgun: inherent to his Dodge Viper form, this weapon detaches when Side Burn transforms, proving to be a highly effective sidearm. In addition to being able to fire rank value 40 powered force beams, it can fire a projectile with these vehicular characteristics:
RV 30 Slashing (fragmentary)
This projectile, a highly versatile missile system, can be fired from the ground (surface to air or surface to surface mode), underwater (torpedo mode), or even in space (cosmic mode). It inflicts power value damage to everybody within one sector of whatever it hits (splash effect).
Light Generation: Side Burn can emit light several ways. The most obvious is through his vehicle mode headlights, while he can also perform this feat with his eyes in his humanoid configuration. Either way, the light so generated is of rank value 20 brightness.
However, Side Burn has a much more deadly light application. He can emit an optical laser strike from his left eye, one which can easily catch folks off guard if they're not prepared for it. This devastating beam can be used to inflict rank value 40 Armor Piercing Energy damage per blast.
Shape Change: whenever he desires, Side Burn can transform between his humanoid and Dodge Viper mode, and often does so quickly in battle for tactical purposes. This power is voice-activated, however ('Side Burn, Transform!'). His Dodge Viper mode has these characteristics:
Spark Engine: super-charged by Ultra Magnus' Matrix powers in battle, Side Burn was given a new spark engine to handle this additional energy. When he uses this engine, he transforms from blue to red in hue in an impressive discharge of power.
In addition to this spectacular visual, this engine grants Side Burn the ability to drive at speeds determined by the 'air' travel chart (that's almost the speed of sound)! Furthermore, it enhances the power of his exhaust bowgun, dragsaber, and optical laser strike by +1 RS.
Teleportation: one power that Side Burn picked up as a result of having his new spark engine installed, this ability allows him to execute small warps on the highway. Functioning at rank value 4, this power can be used to teleport ahead as far as he can clearly see down the road.
Transparent Vision: another optical power of Side Burn's is his ability to peer through solid matter to see what's inside it - or on the other side of a barrier, for instance. This power functions at rank value 50, meaning very little can escape Side Burn's attention.
If he's paying attention, at any rate.
Triple Beam Attack: when they need to pool their resources, the three Autobot Brothers can combine their weapons to emit a powerful energy assault. This combined blast of spark engine power is potent enough to inflict rank value 100 Energy damage per devastating blast
Limitations / Enhancements:
Dragsaber (Battle Blade): a secondary weapon he carries, this handy blade is made from m.v. 100 metals, and allows Side Burn to inflict Slashing damage in melee. Additionally, it has a built-in blaster inside it, which can be fired to inflict rank value 40 Force damage.
Impulsiveness 2: brash and youthful, Side Burn tends to jump the gun, not thinking the consequences of his actions through, whether it be to woo a shiny new red sports car or when inadvertently blundering into a Predacon trap.
Side Burn must pass a Willpower ACT at -4 RS to think things through in hectic situations.
Advanced Guns: Side Burn wields several energy weapons, and he's been trained how to use them very well when necessary. Whenever he's got a blaster, particle beam emitter, rail gun, or any other advanced weapon in hand, he may use it at his Coordination score +1 RS.
Marksman: in addition to his ability to use deluxe energy emitting weapons in combat, Side Burn has also evinced more than casual skill when wielding complex, line of sight weaponry (such as his exhaust bowgun). He also receives a +1 RS bonus when using such devices.
Repair / Tinkering: the head of his class in mechanical repairs, Side Burn can fix most anything either mechanical or electrical (or both) in nature. As such, he should receive a +1 RS on any ACT roll required when repairing or modifying an existing device.
Naturally, Side Burn can rely upon his two brothers, Prowl and X-Brawn, for assistance should he need it, no matter how he managed to get himself into trouble in the first place. He can also count the other Autobots on earth as allies, as well as the humans Dr. Onishi and Koji Onishi.
In his vehicle mode, Side Burn perfectly resembles a blue Dodge Viper, one with a blue-white flame job on the front and gold-tinted windows. When transformed into his humanoid form, Side Burn simply appears to be a robot decorated with blue Viper parts.
When he's in his 'Super Side Burn' state, he's red instead of blue, with a red-orange flame job.
Side Burn is the youngest of the Autobot Brothers - and it shows.
He's constantly getting himself into trouble one way or another, is always spouting off the one-liners, and has an unshakable, contagious enthusiasm. He's also got a bizarre attraction to red sports cars, one that incessantly distracts him from all his duties.

The exact origin of the Autobot called Side Burn isn't exactly known. You see, it is known that he comes from Cybertron, as does his fellows, but it isn't known if this is the Cybertron of a parallel earth, or one of the future; this makes things regarding his background rather complicated.
Regardless, it is known that he and the Autobots learned of Megatron's evil designs for earth, and as such they hoofed it to beat the vile Predacon to that world. Arriving literally years before the would-be master of the universe, Side Burn and company had plenty of time to prepare.
Blending into human society by taking on the forms of earthen vehicles, the Autobots helped humanity as they prepared for the Predacon onslaught, at the same time building a powerful, global space bridge network that would allow them to drive anywhere on earth within minutes.
To best exemplify his personality, Side Burn chose the form of a Dodge Viper, a sleek, fast automobile. Whenever he's on the road, for a mission or otherwise, Side Burn constantly shows off his speed on this planet's highways. When he's not wooing red sports cars, that is.
He's got a bizarre attraction to them, you see, despite the fact that earth vehicles aren't sentient. The Predacons have used this to trip Side Burn up on more than one occasion, getting him into serious trouble. He's smart and tough enough, though, that he usually wins out in the end.
In fact, alongside his brothers, Side Burn tends to do most of the direct combat with earth-bound Predacons. While other Autobots are usually busy with their other duties, it falls upon Side Burn and his brothers to provide the earth's first line of defense against Megatron's aggression!
And he has done so time and time again while Megatron - and later Galvatron - proceeded in his plot to take control of the mightiest Autobot of all: Fortress Maximus! In one battle after another, Side Burn and his compatriots opposed this titanic villain's plan to seize Maximus for his masters.
Once Galvatron located the immense warrior, Side Burn and company shifted their efforts into high gear and, in a great battle, managed to finally defeat him and his many cronies. Locking them up, our hero and his allies then carted 'em to an asteroid penal colony by Cybertron.
Side Burn's further activities have yet to be revealed.
