RV -10 *
* Amongst humans, at least. RV +40 among Predacons / Decepticons / Vehicons, RV -40 among Autobots / Maximals.
Armorhide is, like other Decepticons, an electromechanical entity hailing from Cybertron - possibly the Cybertron of another era or even a variant time line. He is an evil robot that strives to conquer the universe alongside his fellows, and wages war to achieve this goal.
Cybertronian Physique: Armorhide is a robotic entity of Cybertronian design and origin. As such, this acrimonious artillerist has, by his very nature, the use of a large variety of abilities that reflect this. His very body gives Armorhide these super human powers:
* Body Armor: Armorhide was formed with a particularly durable frame, one that offers him rank value 30 resistance to injury. This makes him immune to most basic human attacks, and moderately resistant to his fellow robots. His defense breaks down as follows:
RV 30 / RV 10 / RV 4 / RV 0 / RV 0
* Growth: Cybertronians come in all manner of sizes, few of which align with the human norm. Armorhide, for instance, normally stands at around twelve feet tall in his humanoid mode, which grants him this power at rank value 4 as a general matter of course.
As such, this ballistic villain possesses a +1 size factor. He thus suffers a -1 RS when targeting human-sized foes, but gains a +1 RS on any damage he inflicts against them, as well as 1 RS of damage reduction against any attacks they, in turn, launch against him.
* Microscopic / Telescopic Vision: all Transformers have the ability to alter their visual sensitivity where distance is concerned. Functioning at rank value 2, these powers let Armorhide see objects up to a mile distant with ease, and allow him to read items on microfiche.
* Radio Transceiver: as are most Transformers on earth, Armorhide is equipped with an audio / video transmission system. This communications rig allows him instant contact with any other nearby Cybertronians, having rank value 20 range (100 miles).
* Resistance / Invulnerability to Disease and Poison: an inorganic life form, Armorhide possesses complete immunity to poisons and organic diseases. He also possesses rank value 100 resistance to more chemically creative forms of disease.
Camouflage System: all the Combatrons have a specialized camouflage system that they can use to blend into various environments (such as Arctic tundra, or desert sands). This system works at rank value 2, giving them camouflage patterns appropriate to the background at hand.
Gestalt: using this special power, Armorhide can combine his physical form with that of his fellow Combatrons. Working at rank value 30, this ability can be used to create the ultra-powerful Ruination, one of the Decepticons' most powerful operatives!
Plasma Mortar Cannon: his primary, integral weapon system, this device is housed within Armorhide's tank barrel. It can lob explosive gobs of plasma at an opponent, gobs that detonate to inflict rank value 30 Armor Piercing, SD Energy damage to whatever (or whoever) they hit.
Shape Change: his most notorious ability, this power allows Armorhide to transform his humanoid form into that of a combat tank, if admittedly a rather small one; it's only slightly larger than the vehicle form of his cohort, Rollbar. Armorhide's tank form has the following capabilities:
Limitations / Enhancements:
Dangar Cannon: unlike his plasma mortar cannon, Armorhide's dangar cannon isn't built in to his body, but is a rear-mounted system only usable in his tank mode. It can be fired to inflict rank value 40 Armor Piercing Energy damage with every deadly, twin-barreled strike.
Laser Pistol: in addition to his built-in plasma mortar cannon and his Dangar cannon, Armorhide carries a small, backup laser pistol to assist him on missions. This relatively low-powered weapon can be fired to inflict rank value 10 Armor Piercing Energy damage with each successful shot.
Restraint Shells: equipment that all the Combatrons carry, these shells can be fired from their primary weaponry to capture a foe, rather than kill him outright. Each shell casts an energy net around a foe that restrains him at rank value 30, +1 RS for each additional shell used.
Advanced Guns: Armorhide is naturally a competent marksman - he's been well trained how to use advanced energy weaponry, whether or not it's incorporated into his frame. He can make attacks using beam weapons as if his Coordination was +1 RS in value.
Military: as are the rest of the Combatrons, Armorhide is a born and bred warrior. In other words, he knows general military protocols and procedures like the back of his manipulator, and can lead fighting beings into battle when circumstances deem it necessary.
As a Combatron, Armorhide can easily rely upon his fellows for assistance should he need it - after all, without him, they cannot combine to form Ruination, now, can they? Furthermore, as one of Megatron's minions, he can count that villain's Decepticons and Predacons as contacts as well.
In his alternate mode, Armorhide looks like a blue and black camouflaged tank. Of course, he's much smaller than normal tanks, being just a bit larger than a SUV. In his robot form, Armorhide resembles a humanoid machine built from spare blue tank parts.
Whatever his original personality was, Armorhide is now truly representative of Megatron's minions. He is crass, belligerent, incredibly violent, and battle-crazy. He likes nothing more than to crush his opponents under his heel - and then taking a nice, hot sand bath afterwards.

Most of Armorhide's history is a mystery, for his true self has been irrevocably muddled by Megatron's meddling. You see, after the stasis pod he was riding in was corrupted by that villain, Armorhide was transformed into a highly combative, belligerent Decepticon.
He seems to have been of a military mindset like his fellow Combatrons, but not quite so... gung-ho about blowing things up. Now that he's been forcibly turned away from the Autobot cause, Armorhide gleefully exults in the destruction of anything that Megatron wishes.
Working with his fellow Combatrons, Armorhide has caused untold damage to earth, much of which was unchecked by the Autobots, since their leader didn't stop trying to help him 'see the light' about his true persona for quite some time. Not that this mayhem was without purpose.
This because Megatron sought the location of Fortress Maximus, an immense Autobot secreted on earth long ago, and was willing to destroy everything standing in his way. And since there were so many darn Autobots on earth already, this meant Armorhide was rather busy.
Either by himself, or combined with his fellows into the mighty Ruination, Armorhide fought to the bitter end in order to accomplish Megatron's dangerous goals. In the end, however, Armorhide and his fellows were laid low by the Autobots, and captured in their ultimate defeat.
Once this was done, Armorhide was transferred with his fellow villains to an asteroid penal colony in the vicinity of Cybertron, where he presumably remains to this very day. Unless Megatron's influence is removed from his spark, he may stay there for a very long time, indeed.
