Technoholic Formula Changes - Year 1!
April 8th,1999: yet again, I've gone and patched up the atomic links page, cutting one out and adding a bevy of links to the MSH Saga section. Oh, and I linked Ty's Classic page in, since he's the Man as far as Classic stats go. Need to work on that links page... gots more to add... Woo Woo!
April 1st, 1999: well, I've at least started work on the Crusaders, those hyper-obscure fellows that graced the pages of what, one issue of the Invaders series way back when? Yeppers, they're hyper-obscure, all right. And I've got hardly any stuff to work with, but I try... heh heh...
March 25th, 1999: tinkered with a smattering of things here and there, but I've made little real progress on the 13 this week. A couple thingies here and there have gotten in the way of any actual results, mind you, but things are progressing. That's right, sort of in-transit, if you will.
March 18th, 1999: Ha! Once again, I haven't gotten anything done here on the 13, but then, I blame my job for sapping my strength and will. Eventually, I'll get over this (the job, at least), and get to more productive stuff. Eventually, though not right away - it really sucks!
March 11th, 1999: i finally finished up them Saga conversions of the Vintage Age heroes, and began work on some more GiJoe thingies for the v13 page. I haven't gotten to posting them or anything, but they're in progress... That's something, isn't it? Eh??
March 4th, 1999: Added a bunch more solo Vintage Age fellers' Saga-conversions to the 13, as well as various other thingies. I also managed to work through the atomic links, culling a few dead ones and adding quite a few new ones. Isn't that cool? Of course it is!
February 25th, 1999: I finally finished up the graphical conversion of the 13 to the new logo scheme, working out the Vintage Age stuff at long last. Also, thanks to the dilligent work of the DiceCiper, I've now got Saga conversions for most solo vintage heroes, so I'm putting them up now...
February 18th, 1999: ha! Man, I didn't do anything this week. I started working on some more of the Joes, but I haven't put them up yet. So, I guess that means zilch for this week. I have sorted out lots of personal thingies (have a new job), so I should get back on it here soon. Word? Word!
February 11th, 1999: well, I finally did the Saga conversions for the rest of the Codename: Spitfire section of the New Universe Handbook, getting that part of it done, as well. Neat-o, eh? Then I took a small break, before working out just what I need to do over the next week or so...
February 4th, 1999: went ahead and finished the Nightmask part of the New Universe handbook, period. The thing's finally done. Woo Woo! Also, I wrote up the Ariel-Shijitzu corporation for the v13 game, as well as two of it's most notorious NPCs. Busy, you say? You bet!
January 28th, 1999: got yet another Joe done, as well as a comprehensive description of vampires for the v13 game. I've also begun work on finishing out the player character descriptions in the e mail game section, so that ought to finally be done here really, really soon...
January 21st, 1999: well, I managed one more GiJoe guy, as well as a bit more of the logo revision. I also added in a groovy sort of webcam thingie to the page so that, if my machine is on, folks can peer in on whatever it is I'm doing (don't worry, it's not kinky or anything...
January 14th, 1999: finished up most of that logo refresher, as well as some bizarre oddities in the Variant Earth 13 arena, like MSH Classic writeups of a couple of the GiJoe team members. Groovy, no? I'm also fleshing out a few more of the v13 Player Characters, too. Woo!
January 7th, 1999: changes? Ha! I've been hashing out a major revision of the 13, working all of the logos and such out for a new, '99 look. Not changing stuff simply because of that, mind you, but I wanted to give the place something of a facelift, so that's what I'm doing...
December 31st, 1998: worked on some more v13 stuff, namely getting five of the player characters written up in MSH Classic, as well as working the Scientific College of Frankology out in Classic terms. Saga stuff's hard, though, since that game don't have equivalents of their powers...
December 24th, 1998: well, I finally finished up the Saga conversion of the Invaders, and almost have the All-Winners Squad written up, as well (I just need to stat up Bucky 2, and it's done). Groovy, ain't it, that I finally finished up at least one loose end, here, now, isn't it? Hmm?
December 17th, 1998: got some other stuff done, here and there. Well, not that much, admittedly, but I worked on the v13 player character pages a bit more, so they're mostly ready for yer reading amusement. Yeah, that's something, isn't it? Aww, c'mon, I'm tryin'!
December 10th, 1998: Heh. I didn't get very much done. Sure, I've filled out the v13 page a lot, but that doesn't count. I wanted to get more done, and I didn't. Crap. But, I'll be doing more in the next week, I believe... Well, I think. Believe it when ya sees it!
December 3rd, 1998: Well, I got the skeleton for the Variant Earth 13 site all done up, and have almost finished my initial e mail game PC information. Now, I just need to recruit a few more folks who're interested in playing and make some NPC info available, and we're set!
November 26th, 1998: I've practically finished the Nightmask stuff, as all six of the character's I'd originally planned to write up have been completed, along with the issue guide. Now, I just need to finish up three more folks, and it's done for good! Neat-o!
November 19th, 1998: I made some progress. For one thing, I did a little bit of the Nightmask issue guide (issue 4), Mistress Midnight from said issue, and as the first three pages of the Book of Magic, my brand new Universal Heroes source book. I just got the urge to work on both of 'em now... whee!
November 12th, 1998: well, I didn't get all that much done here this week. Oh, sure, I've worked on my top secret project, but you don't really get to check that out, yet, do you? So, I guess, in the end, it doesn't reallly count. Well, I did write up Nightmask's sister. That's something...
November 5th, 1998: I finished up that last MAX armor, and I also did a writeup of Nightmask done for both MSH RPGs. Oh, and I did quite a lot of the overhaul work needed over there on my Geocities mirror site. Neat-o, eh?
October 29th, 1998: well, I managed to get three of the four MAX armors from Codename: Spitfire written up in Saga terms. One more to go, and those'll be done. Oh, and I got the MAX Armor pilots done as well. Woo!
October 22nd, 1998: I managed to get the whole Psi-Force group itself converted into Saga statistics. Oh, and I finished up those New Universe logos, once and for all. Now, I just need more of those things to actually go somewhere. Hm...
October 15th, 1998: I've gotten a few more of them thar Psi-Force kids converted to Saga game terms, and I also worked out the Vintage Age Human Torch! I also started on the specific logos I need for the New Universe section, based on the actual title logos...
October 8th, 1998: on the eve of the 13's 6 month anniversary of existence, I have begun the Saga conversions of my favorite New U group, Psi-Force. I have also performed a little bit of general maintenance all around the place, to make it work smoothly...
October 1st, 1998: Wow. I managed to complete the Troubleshooters Saga conversion, and almost get the Invaders one done, too. Also, I managed to get all but one of those Universal Squad Excel Character Sheets all done up. Neat-o, eh?
September 24th, 1998: I began some stuff here on the 13. Currently, I'm saga-tizing the Troubleshooters, those wacky, expendable side kicks from the New U Codename: Spitfire comic. Gettin' them done done, once and for all! Ha ha ha ha!
September 17th, 1998: well, I juggled the graphical look for the 13 a bit, adding a new logo and doing some pics for the Variant Earth 13 heroes (Agent Deathmonger to start with). And added another U-Squad hero sheet and some Manual art. Check it out!
September 10th, 1998: heh. I haven't gotten anything really done with the 13 yet, aside from five sample characters from the Universal Squad, all character sheeted up. Yeah, I know, that's not a lot, but I've been busy doin'... stuff. Yeah. Stuff. Sorry!
September 3rd, 1998: well, I didn't accomplish too much this week. I managed to finish the first part of the Nightmask Issue Guide, and verified and rearranged some of my MSH links, but that's about it. Would've gotten more if not for the idiots running my @home site...!
August 27th, 1998: I completed two big projects this week: the Kid Commandos Saga conversions and of course, the Codename: Spitfire section of the New Universe Handbook! On top of that, I also started working on the Nightmask stuff. Woo Woo!
August 20th, 1998: Ha! Well, the Liberty Legion Saga conversions are complete! That's right, finished up and reproofread, so I never have to touch that there Liberty Legion ever again! Ha ha ha! They are 100% done, forever and ever! Woo Woo!
August 13th, 1998: Hm. Hey, I finally got my new computer parts! I can actually do stuff again! I guess this means that I can actually start doing updates and such to the 13, which is a good thing. After a week, well, I'm having a sort of computer withdrawal type thingee...
August 7nd, 1998: Well, I ensured the links were current, have made some graphics, and have done some other small bits o' maintenance for the 13. Also, I have started working on some MSH Saga conversions for a classic group of Marvel heroes: the Liberty Legion!
July 30th, 1998: all right! I got the Kid Commandos done for the Vintage Age Handbook, and I've gotten everything but one character done for the Codename: Spitfire part of the New Universe Handbook! Woo Woo, is that cool or what?!?
July 23rd, 1998: ha! Ha ha ha! I have finished the Troubleshooters AND the Club for that Codename: Spitfire section... All I have to do is a couple scans, and stats for five folks and one industrial laser system thingee, and it's finished!!! Ha ha ha!!
July 16th, 1998: finalizing a sort of total rewiring of the site, via the fonts that I am displaying the texts in. I have also begun working on those Troubleshooters a Lot, and am almost done with them, once and for all! Whee!!
July 9th, 1998: working on Codename: Spitfire section... stupid Troubleshooters are draining my willpower... must... keep... going...! Oh, I also completed the rest of the maintenance the site needed. Now, on to the new stuff, already!
July 2nd, 1998: finished streamlining the New U section (mainly Codename: Spitfire), and performed some of the necessary maintenance the 13 requires to run smoothly. Oh, and I added a silly counter, to boot (yep, I broke down -- sorry)!
June 25st, 1998: aha! I've finished up them thar Invaders, and I'm updating all of the New Universe Handbook stuff I've got up so far... fixin' the logos, streamlining the code somewhat, that sort of thing. Whee!
June 18th, 1998: didn't do much, as of today, as I was taking a week off (more or less). I'd been hit by a gigantic Cox Cable #trade; truck, attacked by a swarm of giant flying ants, and more. But, I'm back on this big'un, now!
June 11th, 1998: okay, I've finished the first seventeen solo heroes, finally, and have started on the Invaders, with the Keen help of meester Keith Kilburn. He's sent them to me, and now I've got to simply h.t.m.l. the things. Woo Woo!
June 4th, 1998: making tons of strides in the Vintage age handbook. Updated the Liberty Legion and added tons of previously unknown (to me) oldsters. I also did some more tweaking of the UH section, adding a neater logo and some other stuff...
May 28th, 1998: still working on the character handbooks; leaning on the Vintage book this week, having found an invaluable source of info on solo vintage folk. Also uploaded a new logo for Variant Earth 13, and rearranged some things for convenience.
May 21st, 1998: uploaded massive amounts of data for the 13... put up zipped copies of the Manual of the Psi, and the start of my Core Rules for the UH game. Managed to make lots of progress on the New U book, and I even uploaded my Resume! Woo woo!!!
May 14th, 1998: uploaded another Denny head, and continued working on the New U handbook. I rearranged the placement of just about everything on the Universal Heroes part of the site, making it more convenient for future additions to the 13. Woo!
May 7th, 1998: I finished statistics for all of the Medusa Web. All eleven of them. I also added some more disembodied Denny heads, and I started work on my comprehensive New Universe Handbook (just need to buy the comics so I can make progress...).
April 30th, 1998: I finally finished those Psi-Force statistics. Got all ten of them done, and am starting to work on the team's various enemies, like the Medusa Web. This'll take a bit, but it'll be really cool once it's done!
April 23rd, 1998: Set image sizes in every document, so the 13 is more browser friendly, and can be used more efficiently overall. Hope this helps! I also started working on statistics for Psi-Force (as the beginnings of the massive New Universe Handbook)!
April 16th, 1998: Altered and uploaded the site logos, and I finished putting MSH character stats for the entire Liberty Legion in the Universal Heroes part of the 13. I tried to be as thorough as possible with them, as I am with all my character write-ups.
April 9th, 1998: Technohol 13 is born. On this day (and over the next week or so) I perfected the site's coding, minty fresh visual appeal (hey, I like it), and basically got the ball rolling on a whole lot of neat stuff. Hope you like it!
