Though they lack super human capabilities, the Sea Slugs can readily make one think otherwise. This thanks to their extensive training and experience in underwater operations, not to mention their skilled use of the staggeringly advanced Sea Ray flying submersibles!

Equipment:

Helmet: obscuring their features as well as defending against blows to the head, Sea Slugs all wear a distinctive helmet. It provides them Good (10) protection against physical assaults striking their cranium, and its visor offers like Screened Senses for their vision.

Knife: though they are no longer Eels, Sea Slugs still carry a blade at all times - it's almost part of them, after all. They can inflict Edged Attack damage with these Incredible (40) m.s. implements, or cut through items of up to like m.s., given the time and inclination.

Sea Ray: this advanced, flying submersible can be divided into a mini-submarine and a jet-powered glider. Stealthy and heavily armed, the Sea Ray is the pride of the Sea Slugs corps, and is described in much greater detail within its own vehicular entry.

Sidearms: Sea Slugs carry two firearms, one of which can be fired beneath the water. Either way, they inflict Typical (6) Shooting damage when discharging a single round, or Good (10) Shooting damage when doing the same with multiple rounds of ammunition.

Talents:

Boating: while they specialize in the solo operation of their Sea Ray, for the most part, Sea Slugs can seve in virtually any role on virtually any ship. Thus, they can typically operate such vehicles on or below the surface, receiving a +1 CS on any applicable FEATs rolls.

Engineering: though their primary role involves vehicular combat, Sea Slugs received training in marine engineering as Eels. Thus, they receive a +1 CS on any FEAT roll intended to either create or destroy something in the water, whether a ship or a secret, undersea base.

Guns: like all Cobras, Sea Slugs are trained how to effectively discharge firearms. Whether wielding standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifles or pistols, or even their Cobra-issued undersea guns, Sea Slugs may do so as though their Agility was +1 CS in rank.

Martial Arts type A or B: Sea Slugs each have one of these two fighting styles - if they have both, they may be promoted even further. A allows them to Slam or Stun a foe regardless of their comparative Strength or Endurance, and B allows a +1 CS to hit in unarmed melee.

Military: Sea Slugs most definitely have this talent, having proven themselves as Eels before they acquired this rank. It allows them to function effectively within a combat unit, and gives them considerable insight into Cobra's byzantine organizational structure.

Piloting: the skill that truly sets them apart from their Eel forebears, Sea Slugs can fly aircraft in addition to serving on ships. Whether handling a fixed or rotary wing aircraft, or even their trademark Sea Rays, Sea Slug resolve Control FEATs at a +1 CS.

Skill / Knives: while they're assigned much more potent hardware upon attaining this rank, Sea Slugs nonetheless keep their Eel-based knife combat talent sharp. They may attempt to assault another with a blade in hand as if their Fighting score was +1 CS in rank.

Underwater Combat: while there aren't too many opponents they might actually face under the waves, Sea Slugs are nonetheless trained in the art of deep sea combat. They may attempt offensive and defensive maneuvers beneath the sea without penalty, unlike most other people.

Contacts:

Elite operatives that have endured expensive and extensive training, Sea Slugs are much less expendable than most Cobras. The organization is likely to make an effort to aid a Sea Slug in need of assistance, but may nonetheless forgo such assistance should it suit their purposes.

Costume:

The Sea Slug uniform consists of loose fitting, mulberry trousers, a mulberry T-shirt with the Sea Slug logo, in silver, over the left breast, black leather gloves, black and mulberry leather boots, a brown and mulberry thigh holster, a brown leather belt, and a red and mulberry helmet.

Notes:

Sea Slugs are elite Cobras who have proven themselves to the organization, both by serving as one of their deadly Eels, and by showing they have what it takes to fly their flying submersible, the Sea Ray. They've thus been entrusted with one of these insanely advanced aircraft.

Highly skilled and highly paid, Sea Slugs are well-regarded by other Cobras, because few of its operatives manage to attain this rank. And Cobras love to see Sea Slugs on the job, on the rare occasions when they manage this, because that means they've got backup nearby.
