As are the vast majority of his fellow Joes, Major Storm is but a normal human, albeit one with an uncanny mastery of tank tactics. He otherwise lacks superhuman abilities, whether they be from genetic mutation, accidents of Science, or bizarre occult skeletons in his closet.
Limitations / Enhancements:
Helmet: this stylized, gold-plated steel helmet is the part of his uniform that tells everybody that he's the man in charge of the General. It provides him Good (10) protection against physical attacks striking him in the head, and has a built in comm link tied to the General.
The General: the terrifying mechanized beast he was recruited onto the GI Joe team to command, this mobile artillery platform and fortress is a terrifying sight to behold even before it opens fire. This beast, Major Storm's pride and joy, is described in its own vehicular entry.
Sidearm: this stylized, gold-plated pistol is another emblem Major Storm carries as a sign that he's the man running the show while the General is rolling. He can discharge one round from this weapon to inflict Typical (6) Shooting damage, or three to inflict Good (10) Shooting damage.
Guns: an essential skill taught him by the military, this talent denotes Major Storm's ability to effectively wield firearms. Whether he's got a standard, semi-automatic, fully automatic rifle or pistol in hand, he may fire it as though his Agility was +1 CS in rank.
Marksman 2: Major Storm is a master marksman, in that he's very good at calculating trajectories and hitting any number of targets with 'line-of-sight' weaponry - it's one thing that makes him such a good tank commander. He operates such machinery at his Agility score +2 CS.
Martial Arts type B: another essential skill taught him by the US military, this talent describes Major Storm's ability to defend himself should he find himself unarmed. He may engage in fisticuffs, or otherwise kick, head butt, or even bite an opponent at his Fighting score +1 CS.
Military / United States: the source of all his skills, this talent serves as an 'origin' of sorts for Major Storm. It denotes his inherent understanding of military protocols and procedures, gives him numerous military contacts and perks, and of course signs his checks.
As a member of the GI Joe team, much less one of its more high ranking fellows, Major Storm can naturally rely upon his teammates for assistance should things get hairy for him; the Joes most definitely look after their own. All he would need to do, of course, is ask them for aid.
Major Storm's uniform is a relatively simple affair. It consists of a tan collared, long-sleeved shirt under a green vest, tan trousers, black leather boots, gloves, and belts, a dark brown holster for his pistol, and of course his shimmering golden helmet.
The Major seems a friendly enough sort, even though he's seen plenty of action in his time; the man hasn't let it bring him down. Of course, one can easily attribute that to the fact that he rarely loses a battle, what with his overwhelming knowledge and confidence backing him up.

Sure, Major Storm learned the same things that every other tank jockey did during their training, but the truth of it is that he acquired most of his useful knowledge about armor tactics and artillery in the field: blowing up live targets, fixing things when they break, and so on.
People like to say he's forgotten more about commanding tanks in the field than most will ever learn, and they may be on to something; he's driven most of America's major hardware in his time, including the M60A1 and the M1A1, but he was destined for more. So much more.
You see, knowing of the man's prowess with tanks, the powers that be got Major Storm an opening on the GI Joe team. Once he managed to pass their grueling entrance exams, Major Storm was put in charge of that team's latest high tech artillery power house: the General.
This devastating, rolling mobile fortress is more than just a tank - though it can pose as one, what with its immense mortar cannon. Needing a full crew to be maintained an operated, it falls onto Major Storm to command this group, even if they get annoyed by him calling it his 'tank'.
Major Storm performed these duties for the GI Joe team until its eventual deactivation in 1994, when the government decided Cobra was no longer a threat that warranted an entire unit to combat it.
Naturally, this proved to be a grievous error, and the Joes were back in action before too long.
Though not called back into action immediately, Major Storm was eventually pulled back into the fold, at first during Cobra Island's second Civil War, and again when those terrorists instigated World War III itself. With them seemingly defeated again, Major Storm has stuck around, however.
Though their leader was captured and his minions scattered to the four winds, the government wants them brought in, and needs the Joes to hold the world together while it repairs the damage Cobra caused. Happy to do his part, Major Storm is staying until told to go home.
Where else can he get a job driving destructive hardware so... big?
Major Storm's second field uniform is a variation on his first. It includes of an olive drab collared, long-sleeved shirt under a green and brown camouflage jacket, olive drab trousers, black leather boots and gloves, light green belts and holsters, and of course his golden helmet.
