Like most of Cobra's talent, even its expert operatives, Sky Creeper is but a normal human. He lacks super-powers of any sort, only having his skills, determination, and assorted standard-issue implements with which to commit his many crimes against the world at large.



Hindrances / Augmentations:



Flashlights (i): whether stored in his web gear or attached to his streamlined helmet, these devices allow Sky Creeper to effectively illuminate his immediate surroundings. They project intensity 4 light, which can let him see anything visible within near missile distance.

Helmet (s): worn while on the job whether gliding or not, Sky Creeper is almost always seen with this headgear. It provides his cranium intensity 8, or +2, protection from physical assault, and its attached visor grants his vision Screened Senses while it's intact.

Knife (s): pinned to his web gear, Sky Creeper carries a spike-knuckled trench knife. He can use either use this m.s. 12 weapon to cut through items possessing up to a like m.s., given the time, or can instead inflict his Strength +2 damage in melee.

Night Vulture Glider (i): built to his exacting standards, the gliders that Sky Creeper utilizes to commit all manner of crimes are high-performance, unpowered aircraft. The capabilities of these vehicles are described in their own equipment entry.

Sidearm (a): though his goal is to avoid conflict in the perpetration of his crimes, Sky Creeper knows that it's often inevitable. As such, he carries this weapon on his web gear while working, the better to either protect himself or to make his escape!

He can fire one round from this weapon to inflict his Agility +4 in damage, or a three-round burst to inflict his Agility +5 in damage. Sky Creeper can apply a scope and a longer barrel, effectively quadrupling its overall range, and making ambushes with it much easier.


Boxing: (s) sure, he'd prefer to gun down threats to his freedom. But should that prove untenable, Sky Creeper can still defend himself while unarmed, splitting his pre-card play action score between two unarmed attacks, the second he may attempt as a contingent action.

Crime (i): Sky Creeper's career in crime was what ultimately led him to a life of international terrorism. He's got years and years of experience in acts ranging from forgery to larceny to kidnapping, and gains a reduction in the difficulty of directly related actions.

Guns (a): as he'd rather not get his hands dirty, Sky Creeper has trained hard in the use of firearms. Whether discharging a standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifle or pistol, Sky Creeper may do so at one difficulty level lower than is normally necessary.

Military (w): though a lack of discipline probably led to his life of crime, Sky Creeper wouldn't have been given such authority within Cobra if he were no good at functioning within a fighting body, much less figure his way around the rank structure of the Cobra Command.

Piloting (a): while his Night Vultures are minimally proficient in the use of gliders, Sky Creeper is absolutely a professional flier. Whenever he's operating a glider, or any other fixed-wing aircraft, Sky Creeper may attempt flight actions at a reduced difficulty.


First in charge of Cobra's Night Vultures, and then their ADDERS unit, Sky Creeper is definitely on that organization's good side. Though not as overtly violent as his fellows, Sky Creeper reliably produces for Cobra, and as such he can rely upon them for aid should he need it.


Greed: sure, he's a relentless perfectionist where his illicit craft is concerned, but Sky Creeper is always about lining his pockets above all else. His entire criminal career is dedicated to stealing the property of others, after all, whether for himself or interested parties!


Sky Creeper's first field uniform includes a long-sleeved, collared turquoise shirt, black trousers beneath yellow padding, black leather boots, yellow leather gloves, yellow pouch, sheath, and holster-laden web gear, and a streamlined yellow helmet with a yellow visor.


He isn't as rough as most members of Cobra, but Sky Creeper will nonetheless commit violence when necessary. But then he's always been perfectly comfortable doing just about anything required to pull off a job. And sucess is what Sky Creeper is all about.

That's why he's worked so hard at being a glider expert. His whole 'thing' is committing high-flying, high-profile crimes, after all, so he practiced his gliding skills until he had mastered the art. Why do something if you're not giving it your all, right?

The man known to various police forces around the world as Sky Creeper has always been criminally minded. After escaping reform school with a makeshift glider of his own design, Sky Creeper decided to make aerial hijinks his signature, and became very, very good at gliding.

But make no mistake. While he may be one of the world's most skilled glider operators, Sky Creeper doesn't see the art as anything other than a means to an end. He's all about stealing, and getting away with, just about everything of value that he can get his hands on.

Eventually the law caught up with Sky Creeper, and he spent a considerable amount of time in prison. Recruited into Cobra by an incarcerated Dreadnok, Sky Creeper quickly proved himself by turning his criminal proclivities into a profit-generating machine for the organization.

So impressed were they with his effectiveness with an easily produced, unpowered vehicle, Cobra gave Sky Creeper the authority to form his very own unit. The resultant Night Vultures follow Sky Creeper's example in pilfering the world's wealthy, and do so for even less pay!

In time, Sky Creeper's unit proved highly profitable, and as a result Cobra expanded his authority considerably. His unit now known as the Aerial Deployment Daredevil Elite Recon Squadron, or ADDERS, and has absorbed the forward assault Air Devils into its illicit ranks.

To manage these additional forces, Sky Creeper had to delegate. He thus placed Black Vulture in charge of the Night Vultures, and Flying Scorpion in charge of the Air Devils. With these competent lieutenants, Sky Creeper can't help but justify his ever-increasing salary!

(Historical Divergence - Devil's Due Time Line)

As leader of the Night Vultures, Sky Creeper was a natural addition to Cobra Commander's Plague Troopers, elite members of various corps within the organization. He was even assigned to the team's first training mission, an assault targeting a hospital.

A bit much for Sky Creeper's tastes, he expressed doubt about the job along with Rip-It. Considering this a failure of loyalty, fellow Cobra Blackout executed the two on the spot. And, when informed of this, Cobra Commander didn't seem to mind all that much.

2016 Variations


Night Vulture Glider, Mark 2 (i): replacing his previous model, the Night Vultures' new glider is a more advanced, yet more simplified design. Only slightly larger than a wingsuit, these new gliders are unarmed, but still provide Sky Creeper intensity 3 gliding ability.


Sky Creeper's second costume is comprised of a long-sleeved turquoise shirt, black trousers beneath yellow padding, black leather boots, yellow leather gloves, yellow pouch, sheath, and holster-laden web gear, and a streamlined yellow helmet with a black visor.
