the Parasite
The Parasite is a heavily armored vehicle primarily intended for troop transport. It can easily contain six Cobra operatives within, who are well-protected from external assault of any stripe, along with ten clinging to the vehicle from outside, and the driver / gunner.
It is a long, deep ride that is bright orange in color, with purple trim here and there. While its nuclear coloration may seem likely to draw enemy fire towards it, the Parasite is armed heavily enough that little can stand in its way without being completely obliterated!
The Parasite has an m.s. of 13, and features these characteristics:
Armored Compartment (s): while the Parasite has enough exterior real estate to move eleven additional Cobras, the vehicle's primary transport compartment is within its heart. It can hold up to six Cobras, who benefit from intensity 12, or +3, protection while inside.
Chain Gun: mounted on the rear of the Parasite, this weapon can rotate in a full three hundred and sixty degrees. It can fire a short burst of ammunition to inflict one's Agility +6 in damage, or be fired continuously to inflict their Agility +7 in damage.
Chin Cannons (a): these four laser projectors, two on each side of the Parasite, are mounted beneath its laser turret. They can only hit what is directly in front of the vehicle, but can inflict one's whopping Agility +7 in Armor Piercing energy damage upon each successful hit.
Cobra-band Radio (i): Cobra gear uses a communication system of its own, not beholden to conventional broadcast standards. The Parasite in particular has a transceiver which operates with intensity 5 range (25 miles), and also benefits from intensity 9 signal encryption.
Linked Laser Turret (a): the front of the Parasite is dominated by this turret, an extension of its driver compartment. It can rotate and elevate, its four linked laser projectors firing in tandem to inflict one's Agility +7 in Armor Piercing energy damage with every deadly barrage.
Mega-Blast Catapult (i): mounted atop the Parasite is a bomb-chucking catapult! It can reliably strike targets within artillery distance, its projectiles exploding on impact to inflict intensity 13 damage to all uncovered targets within near missile distance of their detonation point.
Passenger Capability: though armed to a ridiculous degree, the Parasite's primary purpose is troop transportation. In addition to its driver / gunner, the Parasite can ferry ten folks on its running boards, as well as four within its specially armored interior compartment.
Propulsion (a): a combat transportation vehicle, the Parasite naturally has this inherent ability. It can drive at speeds of up to ninety MPH while on the road (intensity 3 propulsion), while this is limited to 45 MPH while off-road (intensity 2 propulsion).
