Origin:

As are the rest of his fellow GI Joes, save for some oddballs like Snake-Eyes and Robo-Joe, Tomahawk is a normal human, lacking special powers of any variety. He nonetheless fights evil without pause, using his military training and government-issue hardware to do so!

Known Powers:

(none)

Limitations / Enhancements:

(none)

Equipment:

the Ghost Hawk: an upgraded version of the venerable Sky Hawk, GI Joe's original one-man VTOL aircraft, the Ghost Hawk features updated avionics and turbines. Tomahawk is particularly fond of this one-man air superiority engine, which is described fully in its own equipment entry.

Helmet: a part of his standard flight suit, this helmet provides Tomahawk Good (10) protection against physical attacks that strike him in the cranium. Its goggles offer him Remarkable (30) screened senses / sight, and it has a microphone he can patch into his current ride.

Knife: you never know when you're going to have to cut something - or someone - in the field. As such, Tomahawk always carries a blade with him on the job, which can be used to inflict Edged Attack damage in melee, or to cut through items of up to its own m.s. of Incredible (40).

Sidearm: while he's a test pilot, Tomahawk knows that he may have to get more personal now and then. He can either discharge one round with this pistol to inflict Typical (6) Shooting damage, or instead fire a three-round burst to inflict Good (10) Shooting damage.

Quirks:

(none)

Talents:

Aerial Combat: while he can fly a helicopter or an airplane, a significant part of Tomahawk's pilot training involved learning how to fight in the latter. When attempting airborne combat maneuvers, Tomahawk may attempt applicable FEAT rolls at a +1 CS.

Guns: Tomahawk has become well-versed in the use of firearms - mostly those of American make, but a few more on top of that, just in case. Whether he's using a standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifle or pistol, Tomahawk may do so at a +1 CS to his Agility score.

Martial Arts type B: trained in the use of unarmed combat should he find himself otherwise without weaponry, Tomahawk can attempt any unarmed melee attack, whether it be a punch, kick, head butt, knee smash, or whatever else, at a +1 CS to his Fighting score.

Military / United States: the military has been good to Tomahawk, and he's happy to regularly return the favor. In addition to knowing military protocols and procedures like the back of his hand, this skill also accounts for his other talents, and two free military contacts.

Piloting: his primary task after enlisting, Tomahawk is naturally adept in the operation of both fixed and rotary wing aircraft, even if he prefers to fly the former by far. When operating such vehicles, Tomahawk may attempt Control FEATs at a +1 CS.

Contacts:

As a member of GI Joe, Tomahawk can easily rely on the world's greatest anti-terrorist force for assistance should he find himself in trouble - after all, such trouble usually comes about as a result of his work with the team. He has numerous other military contacts as well.

Costume:

Tomahawk's field uniform consists of a long-sleeved, evergreen shirt under a tan vest, evergreen trousers, black leather boots and gloves, a black leather belt, black pouches and holsters for his gear, black knee pads, and a distinctive black, goggled flight helmet.

Personality:

A thrill-seeker at heart, William enjoys nothing more than testing out the latest aircraft he can get his hands on. Whether these vehicles be of American design or are those captured from enemy forces, he has no problem getting into the cockpit and pushing them to the limit!

Real Name: William P. Folger, grade O-2
Occupation: military pilot
Legal Status: citizen of the United States with no known criminal record
Marital Status: unrevealed
Alias(es), if any: none
Group Affiliation: GI Joe

Height: 6'
Hair: black
Eyes: brown
Weight: 170 lbs
Other Distinguishing Characteristics: Tomahawk wears a tightly trimmed beard and moustache at all times.

Story:

Little of Tomahawk's background has been revealed as of yet, aside from the fact that he's an Air Force test pilot who was snapped up by GI Joe as soon as he was available. And though he's one of the more recent additions to the team, Tomahawk brings a whole lot to the table.

A highly skilled fixed-wing aircraft pilot, he tends to find himself in the cockpit during missions against Cobra, at least when there isn't a more dedicated pilot available. In particular, he seems attached to the Ghost Hawk series of GI Joe vehicles, which he flies regularly.

Whether it's the 2010 variation on that vehicle, or even the original 1984 Sky Hawk, Tomahawk is happy to blaze into battle behind the stick with his fellow Joes. Or, if he isn't flying, he has no problem loading up his sidearm and going at it more personally against Cobra!
