Origin:
Like all the other goons, thugs, and other assorted combatants associated with Mark Hazzard, whether directly or otherwise, the Doc is merely human - at least where paranormal powers are concerned. Despite this, she has years and years of combat experience under her belt, as well as the proper medical training with which to patch her pals up after a firefight.
Known Powers:

Limitations / Enhancements:
(none)
Equipment:
Blade: in addition to her hard core firepower, the Doc carries a blade or two with her on missions. After all, when you're stuck in a jungle, it often pays to have something with which to cut through the bush - or, if it comes down to it, other people. This blade can be used in the Doc's hands to inflict Typical (6) Edged Attack damage, and is of Remarkable (30) m.s.
Colt M1911A1 Pistol: whether she's on the job or not, the Doc always has her Colt .45 on her, usually safely contained within a shoulder holster. This gun is semi-automatic in nature, and it can be used to fire a single shot, inflicting Typical (6) Shooting damage per attack, or Good (10) Shooting damage in a semi-automatic, magazine-extinguishing burst. She carries several magazines on her person, too.
First Aid Kit: most importantly, the Doc carries a fully stocked first aid kit on her whenever she's working, to do her job properly. Weaponry is really irrelevant when it gets down to it, as long as she can patch others up - it's what she gets paid for. This kit has all the materials the Doc needs to make use of her medicine talent in the field, including bandages, pain-dulling drugs, stitching, etc.
Quirks:
(none)
Talents:
Guns: though she can fight with a knife, the Doc would prefer to just use her trademark Colt when caught in a compromising situation or otherwise on a mission. With a gun in hand, the Doc makes her attack rolls as though her Agility score was +1 CS in rank, and if she's feeling particularly punchy, she just might have two guns in hand. This has no practical benefit, but it can be intimidating.
Knives: trained to fight in a place that sometimes requires one to kill without a sound, the Doc is well-versed in the practice of knife-fighting. When wielding a blade in combat, she can do so as though her Fighting score was +1 CS in rank, and when she's got a knife in hand, her opponent most likely has absolutely no clue that she's coming, or what's in store for him.
Medicine: more than anything else, and above and beyond her role as a gun-toting mercenary, the Doc is, in essence, a doctor. More than just a glorified medic, the woman has the ability to bring a body back from the brink, up to twenty turns after they've reached Shift 0 Endurance, and receives a +1 CS on any FEAT rolls pertaining to poisons, surgery, medication, or other medical issues.
Military: though she was trained only indirectly by American advisors, the Doc has worked with military men for years, and despite the fact that she has not been formally instructed in the martial ways, she knows her way around such matters. She pretty much knows military protocols as well as she does the alphabet, and can easily interpret orders from (or give them to) military folks.
Contacts:
The Doc is a rare commodity in a merc's line of work: a medic who actually shoots people along with her compatriots. As such, those who work with her value her for her sheer gumption, and usually do whatever they can to keep her alive. Particularly good associates of hers include Mark Hazzard and his mercenary shop, who have worked with her lots of times in the past.
Costume:
While she is on the job (read: shooting people and/or patching others up), the Doc typically wears the same get-up. Her uniform usually consists of an Army green short sleeve shirt and trousers, a forest green belt with forest green pouches all over it, and of course, the prerequisite black leather boots. In the past, she wore more colorful clothing on the job, but has gotten over that with the passage of time.
Personality:
Not too much is really known about the mindset of the Doc, though she must feel at least a little bit of conflict between her role as a mercenary warrior and a field medic; she's either shooting holes in people or patching said holes up while on the job. Regardless, she seems to genuinely care about others, and is willing to aid deserving people without any sort of material compensation whatsoever.

Story:
Very little is really known about the mercenary that Mark Hazzard and his buddies call the Doc. What has been revealed is that she was a field medic for the South Vietnamese forces while there was a South Vietnam, fighting her way into trouble spots and doing what she could to save those allied troopers that had been cut up by enemy fire. She apparently did this for the duration of the war.
On several such missions, the Doc had encountered Mark Hazzard, and fought with his men on each of them. However, the war went sour for her government, and when it was over, she moved to the States. After all, she is a doctor, and could found a practice for herself easily enough. That ultimately didn't happen, though, and the Doc wound up doing merc work for a living.
On several such jobs, the Doc worked with Hazzard and his crew, fighting like a demon and patching up the shop as its component mercs got chopped up in one pointless conflict after another. On her final mission, working with both Hazzard and Sgt. Major Peel, the Doc wound up changing residence yet again, this after they saved a revolutionary Commander from the prison controlled by his foes.
Once they'd freed the guy, and after seeing what the Commander's freedom fighters were trying to accomplish, the Doc decided to stay behind, and to utilize her skills to the benefit of these noble souls. Her current activities are unknown, but it is assumed that she stayed to see the Commander's revolution through to the end, one way or the other. If he won, she's likely still there.
However, if he lost, the Doc would have probably returned to the States if she still could.
