Origin:
One of Fritz Krotze's many employees, Mick Bronson handled a lot of the boss' dirty work. While helping Krotze to clean up his single greatest mess, Mick was given the Mark 1 MAX suit to perform the task, a job Mick was more than happy to attempt.
Powers:
(none)
Hindrances / Augmentations:
(none)
Equipment:
the Mark 1 MAX Suit (i): once Richard Faylen and his engineer flunkies managed to make it battle ready, Mick was given this suit of combat armor for use in the company's service. This highly versatile protective device is comprehensively covered in its own, separate description.
Skills:
Boxing (s): though he didn't have actual martial arts training like his armored foe, Jenny Swensen, Mick nonetheless could hold his own in a fight. He can divide his pre-card play action score between two unarmed melee strikes, even if he's wearing his MAX suit at the time.
Contacts:
As one of the many employees of Krotze International, Mick can presumably rely upon that corporate entity for aid in a pinch. After all, he's done a lot to further their success in the international arms development business. Of course, he did ultimately betray their trust, but still.
Calling:
Greed: a guy like Mick, he's all about the Benjamins. Greenbacks. Moolah. Cashish. He doesn't mind doing bad things, seemingly lacking a conscience altogether, but doesn't do them because he likes to. No, he is in love with money, and will do anything to get great sums of it.
Costume:
When he's at work, Mick doesn't really wear a uniform like most of Krotze International's employees, but then again, he's far from a conventional staffer. When on the job, Mick wears a pair of brown denim trousers, a light green collared shirt, and black leather shoes.
Personality:
Mick's rather cocksure. Overflowing with smug superiority, Mick likes to think he's got one up on everyone around him. This despite working for a defense contractor, who is literally overflowing with smart people who can run rings around his petty little schemes.

Story:
Nothing is known about the background of Mick Bronson. An apparent employee of Krotze International, an engineering firm that specializes in building weapons systems for both our government and other political entities, Mick didn't seem to have much of a defined role in the firm.
On the other hand, he actually did quite a lot for the company. Since his boss, Fritz Krotze, was in bed with the terrorist outfit known as the Club, there were a lot of messes that regularly needed cleaning up around the joint. And Mick, lacking scruples whatsoever, was happy to help.
Mick became such a fixture around Fritz's dealings that he was ultimately given the use of an incredibly expensive prototype with which to clean up Fritz's biggest mess: Doctor Karl Swensen. This inventor had built him one experimental MAX suit, but was holding out on the second.
Fritz couldn't figure out why. After all, he'd only assured the good Doctor that his Man-Amplified eXperimental heuristics technology would be used for peaceful purposes, all the while developing his creations for sale to the Club - and any other party with enough cashish.
But since the Doctor wouldn't give up the goods, and Fritz had already promised the second prototype to the Club, he sent Mick after Swensen in the Mark 1 suit. And Mick, facing surprise resistance from the Doctor, wound up killing him with one of his very own arc welding robots.
With Doctor Swensen out of the way, Fritz thought it would be easy enough to go through his lab - situated on Krotze International property - to find the Mark 2 suit. This didn't prove to be the case, however, for suspecting foul play, Doctor Swensen's daughter Jenny broke in first.
Making off with the Mark 2 suit, along with three tractor trailers that comprised Doctor Swensen's mobile laboratory (which Fritz didn't know was mobile), Jenny denied the man and his criminal backers the bounty of her father's most advanced technology. And Fritz was incensed.
Having been testing the Mark 1 suit's latest modifications, and happy enough with them to begin using them as the basis of a production model, Fritz had Mick don the suit a second time, and sent him after Jenny and her presumed accomplices. And it didn't take long to find her.
Assaulting her with his own, Mark 1 suit as soon as he did so, Mick almost took Jenny's head clean off when he ambushed her from above. Recovering from her surprise, Jenny activated the Mark 2 suit she was donning when so assaulted, and decided to vent her rage on Mick.
Though it wasn't armed like its predecessor, Jenny's Mark 2 armor proved to be more than a match for the larger, clumsier Mark 1 suit, and Jenny ultimately won in her mechanized battle against the man who, unbeknownst to her, actually killed her father.
Luckily for him, Jenny drug him out of the lake she beat him (and his armor) senseless within, for she went after Krotze as soon as she realized he was nearby. Living to fight again another day, Mick either absconded with his Mark 1 suit or KI came by to pick it up later.
But after all this, Mick decided that it was time to, like Fritz, start playing in the big leagues. Believing he had one over on the boss, Mick tried to blackmail Fritz over the death of Karl Swensen, even though he was the man who actually killed the poor doctor.
Having enough criminals hounding him, what with the Club growing increasingly insistent that he deliver the Mark 2 suit, Fritz wasn't about to kowtow to another. Luring Mick into his SDI testing room, Fritz lasered him in his core with his 2.5 megawatt laser, killing him instantly.
