Like all of the other super-human beings that he's encountered in the past, Mindwolf is a paranormal, a man who acquired his impressive psionic powers in the wake of the White Event, a bizarre astronomical phenomenon that forever changed him - and the world he lives in.

Known Powers:

Natural Psionics (Psipathic Powers):

Telepathy (a): his principal paranormal power, and the base ability for all his other psionic tricks, this psipathic art functions for Mindwolf at Amazing (50) rank, allowing him considerable power when communicating directly with the minds of others.

Mind Control (t): the Mindwolf has the ability to force his will upon others, doing so at Incredible (40) rank. This psionic power is the linchpin of his plan to take over the Soviet Union - and then the entire world - by force, even if he can only control one person at a time.

Lie Detection (s): a less powerful, yet very useful skill in his line of work, this psionic ability allows Mindwolf to tell whether or not someone he's talking to is being truthful. This skill functions at Amazing (50) rank, and can only be resisted by conscious effort.

Psi Bolt (a): one of Mindwolf's most potent abilities is flinging about bolts of psionic force, which he can use to inflict Monstrous (75) Karmic damage with each blast. Unlike standard psi-bolts, however, Mindwolf's can actually cause physical signs of damage upon those they strike.

Limitations / Enhancements:

Pistol: while he no longer actually needs it, Mindwolf carries a standard issue semi-automatic pistol on him at all times. This pistol can be fired to discharge one round, inflicting Typical (6) Shooting damage, or Good (10) Shooting damage in a clip-exhausting burst of ammunition.

Detective / Espionage: a member of the KGB, Mindwolf has been well trained in the use of various espionage techniques. As such, he should receive a +1 CS on any FEAT roll required when looking for clues to solve a mystery, or otherwise dig up information on a target.

Guns: a part of his Soviet government training involved Mindwolf being educated in the use of virtually all firearms. Whether he's using a standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic firearm, Mindwolf may do so as though his Agility score was +1 CS in rank.

Languages / English and Russian: being a spy in the employ of the USSR, Mindwolf naturally speaks Russian - it's his native tongue. Furthermore, he has learned multiple languages to better serve the Motherland, including that of its greatest foe: English.

Martial Arts type B: another facet of Mindwolf's basic KGB training is his ability to defend himself should he find himself unarmed. If this should occur, Mindwolf can attempt unarmed melee attacks as though his Fighting score was +1 CS in rank.

As a member of the KGB, Mindwolf can theoretically call upon that organization for aid, should he need it - unless it is more convenient for the KGB to leave him to his own devices. A more specific ally within that group, of course, would be Serge Vladimiroff, a fellow operative he's known for years, and feels that he can trust implicitly - even if he had to verify such with his psionic powers.

Mindwolf doesn't wear a super-villainous costume, per se, believing that his standard issue KGB suit is more than sufficient, with his ample frame, to intimidate his enemies. This suit is a primarily navy blue affair, consisting of navy blue trousers, a white collared shirt beneath a navy blue jacket, a navy blue tie, and black leather shoes, highly polished to show off their quality construction.

The Mindwolf is a proud man - one so proud, in fact, that he feels that all others are beneath him. The advent of his paranormal power has augmented his arrogance to new heights, and he feels that it is his right to rule his homeland... and the world beyond. Furthermore, he has no compunctions against doing anything - anything - required to bring his twisted world-view about.

Not too much is known about the origins of the KGB operative known only as Mindwolf. However, he has revealed some facts regarding his person in conversations with a fellow KGB operative, Serge Vladimiroff. To begin with, he detailed the fact that he had changed in the wake of the White Event, having acquired impressive powers over the mind, a small portion of which he even used in Serge's presence.

In fact, he made it quite clear that he intended to change the chain of command within the USSR with his newfound abilities - with himself at the top, naturally. Of course, before he could do so, he had to deal with the small matter of some... competition. You see, he had acquired a list of so-called 'paranormal' youths from a treasonous CIA operative, but hadn't had any success in collecting the teens on said list.

This was, of course, because Emmett Proudhawk had already beat him to the punch. Proudhawk, being the man who had created the leaked list of super-human youths, managed to save five of them from sinister government operatives, though the others, sadly, met far worse fates. Knowing that Proudhawk also had powers that rivaled his own, the Mindwolf decided that the former CIA agent himself had to die.

Ultimately, Mindwolf decided to eliminate Proudhawk's charges, save for Anastasia Inyushin, as he imagined wouldn't be dangerous - and would in fact be useful to his cause. As such, he accompanied Serge and various KGB operatives when they tracked the youths down in San Francisco, at which point he'd finally met Proudhawk, who confronted him as he attempted to seize Anastasia.

This was a rather short-lived battle, for while Proudhawk was rather powerful, he was exhausted after liberating Anastasia from the Siberian Project. Mustering all his might, Mindwolf actually killed Proudhawk with a massive burst of his own power. Victory was not ultimately his, though, for after he killed their mentor, the five youths that Proudhawk was protecting manifested a surprise defense: the Psi-Hawk!

Possessing the combined powers of these youths, the Psi-Hawk was even more powerful than the Mindwolf, and it managed to defeat him all too easily. Blasted unconscious by the Psi-Hawk's assault, Mindwolf suffered exceptional mental damage as a result of this attack, damage that he has yet to recover from. In fact, the last time Mindwolf was seen, he was carted away in an ambulance, drooling like an idiot.
