Origin:

Tyrone is a paranormal, a sort of altered human who gained his powers as a result of the White Event, an incident that set the New Universe apart from standard reality. His energy manipulating powers are psionic in nature.

Known Powers:

Natural Psionics (Psikinetic Powers):

Energy Projection (a): this unique power allows Tyrone to project his consciousness into the electromagnetic spectrum, generating a ghost-like body that he can use to fly about. He is visible and can speak to other people, but originally that was the extent of his ability.

After the Pitt incident, however, Tyrone's powers started evolving. At first, he could only disrupt electronic systems by passing through them, but he can now produce various energy effects, such as Stunning folks, as well. This power functions at Amazing (50) rank.

Also, while in this form, he can typically fly as fast as the 'speed of thought'. While this exact velocity is unknown, Tyrone can cross the nation in a very small amount of time. Finally, Tyrone's consciousness benefits from 3 CS of damage reduction regarding physical attack.

While his consciousness is in its energy form, Tyrone's physical body is comatose, and he cannot sense what is happening to it or in its vicinity. Should his physical body be slain, it is quite possible that his energy consciousness would die as well, but this is not certain.

Energy Control (t): Tyrone has demonstrated various energy manipulation abilities, though he primarily works with electricity. He can alter electrical fields with Incredible (40) ability, and has been shown to alter sound and light fields with Good (10) skill.

Trained Psionics (Superpsi Powers):

Spectral Gestalt (a): Tyrone can combine his psychic essence with the rest of Psi-Force's to manifest the Psi-Hawk, their combined gestalt form. This entity was apparently slain by the Russian paranormal known as Rodstvow, but manifested anew several years later.

Limitations / Enhancements:

(none)

Equipment:

(none)

Quirks:

3-D Sense: Tyrone has gotten quite good at flying and aerial combat, and can reasonably do so in a three-dimensional environment (in other words, in the air). This means Tyrone is normally unable to be surprised by anyone approaching him at oddball angles.

Talents:

Aerial Combat: having had over two years of practice in the use of his flying abilities (if in his energy projection), Tyrone makes all of his non-damage FEAT rolls at a +1 CS while fighting in the air, as he's grown very skilled in such combat.

Computers: after his Psi-Force pals sprung him from the government's paranormal fighting force, Tyrone was trained in advanced computer operations by the Medusa Web. He makes computer FEATs at +1 CS, whether he's operating, building or programming such devices.

Detective / Espionage: Tyrone also picked up this skill after hooking up with Psi-Force and the Medusa Web again. It shows his training in surveillance techniques, spotting minor details about a subject, operating 'spy' equipment, and determining whether or not he's being followed.

Guns: while in the military, Tyrone was forced to train in the use of small to medium scale projectile weapons of every sort. In short, he can wield any standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifle or pistol as though his Agility was +1 CS in rank.

Martial Arts type B: another skill Tyrone picked up thanks to his being Drafted, this talent showcases his formal training in unarmed fighting techniques. He can punch, kick, or engage in any other unarmed hand-to-hand maneuver at his Fighting score +1 CS.

Military / United States: forced to join the military by the paranormal Draft, Tyrone had to absorb the many facets of military protocol, and fast. He can decipher military plans, lead a body of troops, and otherwise function in a militaristic setting (like the Medusa Web).

Sports: Tyrone played plenty of sports in high school, including baseball, football, and basketball. He was rather good at them, too, and may attempt applicable FEAT rolls on sports actions (shooting hoops, etc.) or knowledge (stats and such) at a +1 CS.

Contacts:

As a member of Psi-Force, Tyrone can probably rely on any team member for whatever help he could need. The Medusa Web should also be considered a reliable contact, as they went to great lengths to recruit the Psi-Force, and would not like to lose them.

Costume:

While active with Psi-Force, Tyrone usually didn't wear a specific uniform to speak of, but has flirted with such designs in the past. His 'ideal' costume would include black pants, and a black 'muscle' tank top shirt with stylized red hawk head on front.

Personality:

Tyrone has always been a team player. Ever since high school, he worked well in a team, a trait that has helped him to keep Psi-Force together through their early years. He's an honest, trustworthy guy, and a true hero.

Story:

Tyrone was a youth about to run away from home when his paranormal powers decided to manifest a day or so after the White Event. Thanks to the mental prompting of Emmett Proudhawk, he decided to do it, and fled his home for the streets of San Francisco.

He eventually hooked up with the rest of Psi-Force, and having nowhere else to go, decided to hang around for a time. Tyrone was present at the death of Emmett Proudhawk, who was slain by the Russian paranormal known as Mindwolf.

Tyrone and the enraged teens decided to get even with this murderer, and summoned forth the Psi-Hawk to help them do so. This being was generated by the combined essences of the psionic youths, and was able to defeat their enemy in no time flat.

After this incident, Psi-Force remained in their Sanctuary for the most part, until the Russian paranormal known as Rodstvow destroyed it. Tyrone was severely wounded in this blast, suffering severe burns across his body.

His body was left in a local hospital, but his mind was still functioning. Tyrone mentally projected his energy form to escape the pain his body was in, and was able to join his friend Wayne in Seattle, to help him escape the pursuit of the Medusa Web, who were out to get him.

During this time, Tyrone met and befriended Andrew Chaser, an investigative reporter who'd become interested in Psi-Force, and the government's quest to bring them in. The two exchanged information on various subjects, which led to the rescue of the rest of Psi-Force.

Wayne, Tyrone, and their new pal Lindsey journeyed back to America (after hiding out in Canada) and freed Thomas Boyd from the Army (he'd been Drafted). With that extra help, the team freed their other captive pals from a military hospital, and planned their future.

They decided to break into another military facility to find out who was after them, and to get the dirt on their operations, but someone had beaten them there. It was Rodstvow. He'd pretty much cleaned the place out, and thanks to this, the soldiers inside were rather... angry.

They pretty much shot the Psi-Force down on sight. Thanks to Anastasia, the team healer, the team was saved from death, though at the cost of Anastasia's very life. This made the team very angry in turn, and they decided to get even with the Army and Rodstvow both.

They summoned forth the Psi-Hawk, and did battle with Rodstvow over the streets of Washington DC, totaling the city in the process. The Psi-Hawk lost its battle with the Russian, however, and was apparently destroyed in the wake of his catastrophic defeat.

After this, Tyrone awoke in his San Francisco hospital bed, where he was promptly carried off by the Feds to be Drafted. He was still crippled from the Sanctuary explosion, but this didn't matter to them; they just wanted the paranormal for their own purposes.

Tyrone stayed in the Army for the rest of the Psi-Force comic. However, the last issue hinted that the team eventually broke him out, too, and he rejoined Psi-Force as well. Since he wasn't in the Paranormal Platoon during the War, it's safe to assume this is the case.
