Mike Jensen, known to his fellows in the Jensen Congress as Mike 002, is a cyborg, a formerly normal human that has been augmented by a series of high tech devices, some of which are of his own creation. These implants give him a variety of super-human capabilities.

Cybernetics:

While he was born with no transnormal capabilities, Mike 002 has had a series of items implanted into his body - to prevent his gear from being stolen from him by the government, as it has been in the past. The implants he is currently known to possess include the following:

* Cyber-arms (s): these m.s. 16 robotic replacement limbs have been attached to Mike 002's torso after he intentionally had his original meat removed. They do not offer him additional lifting strength, but allow him to grip (or crush) objects at a +1.

In addition to this, as well as the ability to handle normally dangerous items with ease, Mike 002's cybernetic arms primarily serve to house items normally carried 'externally' by other members of the Jensen Congress, such as their laser projectors and omni-scanners.

* Cyber-eye (w): Mike 002's left eye has been replaced with an artificial ocular device. In addition to high definition vision, Mike 002 benefits from intensity 5 infravision, microscopic vision and telescopic vision, which he may turn on or off at his leisure.

Furthermore, Mike 002's eye is equipped with a heads-up display. This overlays computerized data on top of his vision while active, which helps him to interpret what his eye's additional senses are telling him, as well as providing information from his other implants.

* Force Field Emitter (i): implanted in a plate in the small of his back, resting just over his spine, this device of Mike 002's creation affords him considerable protection from injury. This intensity 12 barrier protects Mike 002 with like (or +3) ability.

* Laser Index Finger (a): with the aid of Mike 003, Mike 002 has condensed the technology of the latter's laser projection circuitry into his hand - specifically, his index finger. Of course, this miniaturization work also served to aid Mike 003's own researches, as well!

When pointing at someone with his right hand, Mike 002 may lase them at his option. This inflicts his Agility +5 in energy damage with each deadly shot, though Mike 002 can add a +1 to his finger's damage for each doubling of exchanges it strikes a foe (+5 maximum).

* Omni-scanner (w): designed by Michelle 232, the omni-scanner is a mainstay of all Jensen Congress members. It is known to be, at the very least, equipped with the biological sense, energy sense and nativity sense powers, all functioning at intensity 13.

Though this device is typically a portable, hand-held scanner, Mike 002 has rebuilt Michelle 232's device into his left cybernetic arm. Thus, he can simply point this extremity at something to use the omni-scanner on it - its visual output overlaid onto his eye's H.U.D.

Implant Psychosis Statistic: intensity 10.

Hindrances / Augmentations:

Implant Psychosis Statistic: as a cyborg, Mike 002 is subject to the problem of implant psychosis. Under duress, he must pass an easy difficulty Willpower action against his IPS, or he will suffer from extreme mental instability for a time - usually until he next falls unconscious.

This instability can take almost any form, but usually acts to make Mike 002 particularly sociopathic - well, more so than usual, at any rate. When suffering from an IPS flare-up, Mike 002 can totally distinguish between right and wrong - he simply doesn't care.

Equipment:

The Transfinitron (i): although Mike 002 doesn't know that much about cross-temporal physics, he nonetheless has himself a device with which he can travel from one timeline to another. Built for him by Mike 001, this large platform allows Mike 002 access to the multiverse!

Able to send things from one variant earth to another, Mike 002's Transfinitron is usually just used to pass from Earth Two to Earth Zero - and back again. Though on occasion, Mike 002 will use this intensity 13 dimensional transit machine to loot other earths.

Skills:

Crime (i): unlike most of his Congressional peers, Mike 002 is well-versed in a variety of illicit activities. A textbook super villain, Mike 002 should attempt 'evil' behavior such as the appraisal of stolen goods or even disguising himself as another person at a reduced difficulty.

Electronics 3 (i): Mike 002 is something of a genius where electronics is concerned - as are many of his counterparts across the timelines. As such, he may operate, build and repair analog or digital electronic devices at a reduced difficulty, benefiting from an autotrump when doing so.

Targeting (a): unlike most of his cross-time counterparts, Mike 002 has his laser weaponry 'built in'. As such, he has trained in the use of inherent projectile weaponry instead of more conventional firearms, and may wield such at a reduced difficulty.

Contacts:

Mike 002 is on good terms with the Jensen Congress, a group of his counterparts across the multiverse. Though he's criminally minded and demonstrates the fact that he's a high-functioning sociopath on occasion, he feels no need to take out his aggression on, essentially, himself.

Woe be the rest of causality, however. Mike 002 has no qualms about committing any crime, no matter how heinous, to get his way. Whether this involves especially humiliating a hated foe or seizing something he's decided must be his, there is no line Mike 002 will not cross.

Which is why he has no contacts left in his own timeline.

Calling:

World Domination, with a secondary calling of Vengeance: Mike 002 thinks the world would be better with him at its helm - and almost everything he does is to bring this state of affairs about. When he isn't punishing his foes for their perfidy, that is.

Costume:

Mike 002 wears a black Spandex ™ short sleeved shirt, to show off his artificial arms, at all times. If he's 'on the job' he'll wear matching Spandex ™ pants, though if he's not engaging in crime he usually just wears khakis cargo pants.

Whether he's working or not, Mike 002 will usually have a wide array of electronic tools on his person. These instruments, of his own design, allow him to either repair his malfunctioning implants, build his latest weapon of mass distraction, or otherwise tinker with stuff.

Personality:

The Mike Jensen of Earth Two is a complete sociopath. He's incredibly smart and manipulative, and only cares about Mike Jensen. This affords the Jensen Congress protection from his predation (since they're essentially different versions of himself), helping him to obey their one law.

Anyone else is fair game, however. Mike 002 is a convicted felon with a rap sheet a mile wide, and is a notorious criminal that can only be referred to as a 'villain'. This makes it hard for others to trust or rely upon Mike - even his fellow Congressmen tend to give him a wide berth.

Story:

The timeline that contains Earth Two progressed much as the 'real world' did, save for one important difference: Mike Jensen. Far too intelligent for his own good, Mike bristled at the state of the world as it currently existed, and strived to change it for the better!

With him in charge, of course. To this end, Mike thought he should first master a technology which would render him impervious to conventional injury: the force field! The problem was, force field technology itself required a number of other advancements to make it work.

Methodically attacking the problem, Mike began to develop one staggering increase in technological prowess after another, but his ultimate goal eluded him. This obsessive focus on stuff ultimately drove a permanent wedge between him and his wife, leading to an early divorce.

Not caring that Marlene left him with the kids, Mike continued his work unabated. Though he always felt at the very cusp of success, Mike could never quite achieve his goal of a sustainable force field... at least not without help. And the only help that was good enough was his own!

You see, Mike was visited in his laboratory one night by a cross-time version of himself, who was similarly obsessed with the physics of time. Seeing a kindred spirit, this counterpart dedicated several months of his life to help Mike finally master the trick of force fields.

Also seeing the value of this technology, Mike's counterpart offered a trade: Mike's force field science for the other Mike's cross-time science. Thinking this fair, Mike then build a second force field generator for his variant self, in exchange for one of the man's Transfinitrons!

When his do-gooder variant self ultimately went on to supposedly greater things, Mike launched a crime wave across the country, secure in the fact that his force field was nigh-impervious to conventional harm. It was, at least, until Mike was gassed by the Los Angeles S.W.A.T.

Cursing himself in jail for not having anticipated such a simple hole in his defenses, Mike began to concoct several escape plans when his variant self manifested in his jail cell anew. This time, the other Mike offered him membership in a club of, well, other Mikes across time!

Leaping at the opportunity, Mike accompanied his other self to what was now called Earth Zero - a version of earth in a timeline where humanity never evolved. There, Mike spent time with several different variations on himself, and swapped technologies with them.

Further armed, Mike returned home, where he waged a campaign of retribution against the L.A.P.D. - this time with a gas mask on. His need for payback sated for a time, Mike then began to use the Transfinitron that the first counterpart of himself he'd met, Mike 001, had given him.

Journeying across the timelines, Mike, now known as Mike 002 to his compatriots in the new Jensen Congress, eventually found a world where cybernetic implants were relatively commonplace. There, he gained replacement arms - and embedded much of his gear into his very body!

Now one with his technology, whether it was built by himself or one of his cross-time counterparts, Mike 002 returned home. Of course, he's not intent on simply brow-beating the Los Angeles police for their earlier victory against him. No, he's now intent on world domination!
