As are most of her Mindwatch fellows, Tamara 'Tammy' Jones is a psi - an otherwise normal human who has gained access to the power of psionics through extensive study and meditation. Tammy's specific training has seen her master a wide variety of psionic abilities.
Powers:
Trained Psionics (Psikinetic Powers, Intermediate Student):
Telekinesis (a) (i): her original and most well-developed psionic, this power has become Tammy's primary means of interacting with the world. She can wield this ability with intensity 14 might, giving her the power to manipulate up to ten tons of matter at once!
Force Field (t) (i): Tammy is well-versed in using the power of her mind to prevent incoming damage from affecting her. She can do this with intensity 10 ability, which provides like protection or enhances her extant protection by +3 (whichever is higher).
Kinetic Focus (s) (s): a more offensive application of her mind over matter abilities, Tammy can use this skill to focus energy into her fists (or whatever)... to be released on contact! When this power is active, she can inflict intensity 13 force damage in melee combat.
Trained Psionics (Empathic Powers, Intermediate Student):
Empathy (a) (w): tired of being deceived and/or betrayed by those who she trusted in the past, Tammy has taken to studying empathy to better get at the truth. Her intensity 9 empathy allows her to read and broadcast emotional states within far missile distance of her person.
Empathic Hammer (t) (w): by rapidly and randomly changing one's emotional state, Tammy can inflict serious psychic harm upon them. Each use of this power causes intensity 9 karmic damage, if she can pass an easy difficulty Empathic Hammer (willpower) action against her foe.
Healing / Others (s) (s): a skill which has made her very popular in the field, Tammy has the power to heal the damage that others sustain in battle (or whatever). She possesses intensity 10 healing abilities, which can easily stabilize most wounded individuals.
Trained Psionics (Technopsionic Powers, Intermediate Student):
Knowledge (a) (i): Tammy essentially began a study of the technopsionic discipline to gain access to this power. Functioning at intensity 8, it allows her to adopt at least three additional talents temporarily - which greatly enhances her crime-fighting capabilities.
Variable Skill (t) (i): similarly, this technopsi talent allows Tammy to 'copy' any one skill anyone within near missile distance possesses, a skill that she can retain until she copies another... at which point the 'new' skill will replace the 'old' one.
Hindrances / Augmentations:
Nemesis: the back and forth between Tammy and criminal organizations in the Atlanta area has caused them to be counted as a true enemy for her - even if they did start it. She outclasses the mob in raw power, but they in turn outclass her in sheer, overwhelming numbers.
Equipment:
Beretta 9mm (a): should her large array of psionics fail her somehow, or perhaps she desires to keep them on the 'down low', Tammy carries this slug slinger. It can be fired to inflict her Agility +4 damage in a single shot, +5 if she fires it semi-automatic.
Kevlar ™ Vest (s): though she can maintain an invisible force field, Tammy wears this while in action to draw attention away from the fact that she's super-powered. It provides, by itself, +2 resistance against bashing and piercing attacks.
Smartphone (i): Tammy keeps a Blackberry ™ on her at all times, to keep track of the criminal world she's constantly doing battle with. In addition to being a portable computer, it can make telephone calls or send messages with up to intensity 3 range under ideal conditions.
Skills:
Boxing (s): a great addition to her combat prowess, this talent allows Tammy to make great use of her kinetic focus power. She can attempt two unarmed melee attacks each exchange, the second of which will occur as a contingent action.
Criminology (i): after the mob killed her family, Tammy has taken it upon herself to study the criminal mind and associated culture... the better to destroy it! She can make actions where criminal knowledge is concerned at a reduced difficulty.
Marksmanship (a): while she prefers a more direct, hand-to-hand style of fighting, Tammy has sought out training in the use of firearms. Thus, she can attack with most standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifles or pistols at a reduced difficulty.
Trance (w): finally, Tammy can reduce her circulatory and respiratory rates to a level that some may confused with a deceased state; in addition to being a great meditation tool, she can disguise the fact that she still lives with an average difficulty Willpower (intellect) action!
Contacts:
Tammy is a member of the Mindwatch organization, who she can rely upon for aid should she but ask; many members of the group inadvertently wronged her in the past, and thus feel especially obligated to make things right with her as of yet.
She has additional contacts in the form of criminal informants. Her one-woman war against organized crime in Atlanta has netted her a wide network of people more than willing to let her in on things they know - even if only to use her to get at their competition...!
Calling:
Vengeance: while most Mindwatch operatives tend to focus their minds on protecting their fellow psis, Tammy only peripherally pursues such aims. No, her primary goal involves getting payback on the collected criminals working in Atlanta, Georgia - no matter the cost!
Costume:
Tammy's costume is somewhat militant. It consists of a black Spandex ™ tank top and baggy black and gray camouflaged trousers. She has accessorized this basic outfit with black leather boots and gloves, a black leather belt, a black Kevlar ™ vest, and black sunglasses.
Personality:
Tammy Jones is a driven young woman. She feels that her absence is what caused the death of her family at the hands of Atlanta's criminal element, and thus feels compelled to use the powers she gained during that absence to pay them back for the damage they've done!

Other Distinguishing Characteristics: Tammy pulls her thick black hair back in a severe pony tail at all times, though it often appears to sway in a wind no one else can feel thanks to her telekinesis.
Story:
Tammy Jones used to be an ordinary college student, working part-time to cover her bills while simultaneously studying hard. Of course, thanks to a bizarre quirk in her family history, Tammy would soon be studying something completely different than criminal justice.
Her family on her mother's side had a tendency to be psychic, you see, and the organization known as Mindwatch was quite aware of this fact. As such, they approached Tammy one day with an offer to train her in the powers which they knew to be her heritage.
She was dubious at first, but after a few blatant demonstrations of raw power, Tammy was convinced. Thus, with her family's blessing, she left college on a leave of absence, traveling to Mindwatch's compound in the Far East - where she would spend several years training.
Though her family seemed to have a predilection for telepathy, Tammy thought it would be more 'fun' to study telekinesis... and thus she did just that. After all, she figured she could 'come back' to the whole mind reading thing at a later date, if she so chose.
This because, unlike many members of Mindwatch, Tammy chose to go with a more variable form of training, one which would see her visiting several different paths of power relatively quickly. Sacrificing raw power for greater versatility seemed like a good idea for her.
After learning everything she wanted to from the telekinetic side of things, Tammy opted to take a break and visit her family, not having seen them in quite some time. Little did she know that they were all dead... having been killed by mobsters in her home town.
You see, Tammy's father's side had a long history in law enforcement, hence her previous study towards a degree in criminal justice. However, Tammy's father had crossed the wrong criminal one time too many, and since he was unable to be bought, said criminal had him put down.
Collateral damage caused Tammy's mother and little sister to also die in the hit as well, which meant Tammy was alone in the world. Alone, mind you, save for a sudden burning need for vengeance... which she began to indulge almost immediately!
Wielding her knowledge of criminal behavior as well as her telekinetic prowess, Tammy began a one-woman war against the organized crime extant in Atlanta, Georgia. She was well on her way to dismantling a variety of local gangs, too, before Mindwatch waylaid her angry campaign.
Well, not the entire group, so much as one bad apple within, whose criminal schemes caused Tammy to get swept up in a bizarre super-human conflict which managed to expose her secret identity to her enemies. Thus, the mob has been out for Tammy's blood ever since.
They couldn't really do anything about her at first though, for in the wake of this mess, Tammy returned to the Asian Mindwatch compound for some time. There, she studied several additional tools with which to fight crime - in new disciplines of power!
Freshly armed with these additional psionics, Tammy has since returned to Atlanta, the city of her birth. Though living under an assumed name, she now hunts the countless thugs of Atlanta with her specialized, crime fighting powers... under the alias of Mindgame!
