the Pile Driver

A 'rapid-assault, tornado attack vehicle', the Pile Driver is essentially a large, spinning hammer on wheels. This thing is equipped to be driven adjacent to its driver's foes (said driver usually being T'Gin-Zu), and then used in melee combat! It has these characteristics:

Armored Cockpit: the cockpit of the Pile Driver is mounted in the same pivoting mechanism that rotates its ninja knockout hammer. In other words, its driver spins inside the hammer mechanism, making him or her incredibly hard to hit (2 CS of Deflection).

Body Armor: the Pile Driver is a tough target. It is essentially a flat vehicle (the ninja knockout hammer notwithstanding), and is built to withstand bazooka shells. The vehicle overall has an m.s. of Remarkable (30), and provides -2 CS Protection to its dizzified operator.

Communications Array: the Pile Driver is equipped with a gigahertz frequency, frequency wobbler clandestine operations radio system. This makes for Good (10) communications power (with a 25 mile range) that features Remarkable (30) ranked signal encryption.

Grenade Launcher: the Pile Driver's secondary weapons are two grenade launchers, mounted atop the ninja knockout hammer-thing. It fires explosives that detonate to inflict Remarkable (30) Edged Attack (fragmentary) damage, +1 CS if it lobs two grenades in an area simultaneously.

Ninja Knockout Hammer: the main weapon on the Pile Driver, this bizarre implement can be used to engage targets around the Pile Driver in melee! It can spin with incredible force, enough to inflict a crushing Remarkable (30) Blunt Attack damage with every successful hit!

1993 Variations

the Battle Ax

When GI Joe ninjas started wielding vehicles in the field, Cobra quickly got in on that action. Approximating T'Gin'Zu's Pile Driver in a more lethal form, they replaced its hammer with an axe! Otherwise functioning the same, Cobra's Battle Ax features this differing weapon:

Cyclone Slash Axe: the main weapon on the Battle Ax, this bizarre implement can be used to engage targets around the Battle Ax in melee! It can spin with incredible force, enough to inflict a crushing Remarkable (30) Edged Attack damage with every successful hit!
