Like the vast majority of his fellow GI Joes, Big Brawler is but a normal human. He lacks beneficial genetic mutations, occult attachments, and psionic schooling. While just a mere mortal, he's very well-trained in his fields of expertise, enough so that he's no mere pushover.
Limitations / Enhancements:
Assault Rifle: his primary combat implement, this modified AK-47 can discharge one round to inflict rank value 6 Piercing damage, a small burst of such to inflict rank value 10 Piercing damage, or be fired continuously to inflict rank value 20 Piercing damage.
It's also equipped with a 'scope on top, allowing Big Brawler to ambush at range with a +1 RS bonus.
Flashlight: useful when digging about in the deepest of jungles or an enemy's offices at night, this illuminating tool allows Big Brawler a plethora of nocturnal mission options. This thing can produce rank value 20 illumination for about twelve hours on its batteries.
Knife: a necessity when traversing through the jungle, this is one of Big Brawler's most essential tools. Made from m.v. 40 materials, this blade can either be used to inflict his Brawn value in Slashing damage, or to cut through items of up to like m.v., given enough time.
Sidearm: while his assault rifle is much more effective in combat, it always pays to have a backup. This one-handed pistol can discharge a single round to inflict rank value 6 Piercing damage, or a small burst of rounds to inflict rank value 10 Piercing damage.
Survival Gear: since it's part of his job description, Big Brawler carries a bunch of gear to assist his survival should he wind up in a jungle environ. His gear includes emergency rations, compasses, a Global Positioning System unit, various maps, and a whole lot more.
Temper: while he may be a hotshot Army intelligence guru, Big Brawler isn't flawless - oh no. He has a problem with terrorists and other evildoers, and if faced with such folk, he must pass a Willpower ACTION at -2 RS to resist the urge to take 'em apart... should he wish to.
Detective / Espionage: one facet of Big Brawler's military training is an extensive background in modern espionage techniques. When digging up clues to solve a mystery, attempting to surveil a target, or otherwise doing sneaky spy-stuff, he gains a +1 RS on applicable ACTION rolls.
Guns: basic military training has given Big Brawler the ability to use most modern firearms. Whether his current weapon is a standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifle or pistol, or even a shotgun, Big Brawler can fire it as though his Coordination was +1 RS in value.
Manipulation: a master of psychological warfare that could make Psyche-Out himself proud, Big Brawler excels at manipulating the minds of others. As such, Big Brawler should receive a +1 RS on any ACTION rolls required when attempting to affect the behavior of others.
Martial Arts style B: additional basic military education has also given Big Brawler the ability to defend himself in a scrap. Whether throwing a punch, flinging a kick, smashing an elbow, or even butting a head, Big Brawler may do so as though his Melee was +1 RS in value.
Military / United States: as a member of GI Joe and Army intelligence, Big Brawler sort of picked up this talent by default. In addition to giving him an innate understanding of American military policies and procedures, this skill also serves as a convenient origin for the man.
Survival: another facet of Big Brawler's survival training is that he can scrounge up the food, water, and shelter required to survive in almost any climate. Having had specific training in arctic, jungle, and urban survival, he can get along just fine almost anywhere on earth!
As a member of the GI Joe team, Big Brawler can naturally rely on most, if not all of his fellows for aid in a pinch; after all, the Joes are a very tight-knit group. Of course, he's also got quite a few contacts of an unspecified nature, mostly in military and espionage circles.
When at work with the Joes, Big Brawler wears an earthy brown T-shirt with 'Army' written on it in yellow, capital letters, green camouflage trousers, a pair of black leather boots and gloves, a black leather belt, and his large black backpack, of course.
While he's quite smart, Brian is hamstrung by his intense temper, not to mention his intolerance of anybody threatening freedom and liberty. His almost irrational patriotism has caused him to exceed the bounds of countless intelligence missions, but you can't argue with his results.
When thinking of Brian, just picture him as the quintessential loose cannon.

Especially patriotic, Big Brawler enlisted at an early age and quickly excelled, so much so that his superiors thought he'd be a good candidate for Army Intelligence work. He was, in fact, and over the years the man has participated in countless operations against terrorist organizations.
When in the course of his work it became apparent that Cobra was behind the majority of terrorist activity on earth, Big Brawler decided to join the GI Joe team. While the group has several intelligence operatives, you can never go wrong with more spies in the ranks, so he was a shoe-in.
Once he made it onto the Joe team, Big Brawler could take his fight to its source, and managed to serve as the team's liaison to the United States Army Intelligence and Security Command at the same time. This definitely keeps him busy, but then Big Brawler really loves his work.
In addition to being a good intelligence operative, Big Brawler also has a natural affinity for jungle environs, and doubles as a jungle trooper for the Joe team. This works out quite well, as many of Cobra's most secret bases are hidden well within the thickest jungles on earth.
While he is a newer addition to the GI Joe team, and has several 'temper' issues to resolve, Big Brawler is nonetheless a valuable member of the group. He brings more to the team than his bombastic, violent nature detracts from it, and as such is a natural fit for the Joes.
the Gun Station (v2): Big Brawler is occasionally assigned a heavy fire support role, and is given a Gun Station with which to lay down cover fire. This is a heavy duty, swivel-mount rocket launching platform that is easily assembled in the field, and is described in its own equipment entry.

Big Ben's fourth GI Joe uniform is a variant on his Tiger Force ensemble. It includes green and gray camouflage pants, a white T-shirt with black tiger stripes and 'brawler' written on it, black leather boots and fingerless gloves, and a light brown leather belt with a silver buckle.
Chain Gun: when given a heavy fire support role, Big Brawler often brings this big gun to work. He can discharge a short burst of rounds from this rotary-barreled cannon to inflict rank value 20 Piercing damage, or fire it continuously to inflict rank value 30 Piercing damage.
Big Brawler's fifth uniform is similar to his third, really. It includes green trousers, a neon orange T-shirt with black tiger stripes and 'brawler' written on it, gray leather boots and gloves, a brown leather belt with a silver buckle, gray knee pads, and brown pouches, sheathes, and holsters.
