Yet another in a long line of excellent combat helicopters, GI Joe's Night Attack Chopper is a magnificent feat of engineering. With a total range of 475 miles when fully loaded, this heavily armored combat troop transport possesses the following vehicular capabilities:

Body Armor: the Night Attack Chopper is built to last, having the latest in composite-armor plating. This serves to provide it and its passengers Excellent (20) Protection from attack, making it all but immune to small-arms fire, though the blades only have this Protection at Good (10).
Communications Suite: the Night Attack Chopper is equipped with an advanced radio transceiver system, allowing its crew to send and receive information to and from a control center. This Excellent (20) powered transceiver has a maximum range of about 100 miles.
Flight / Levitation: the principal purpose of the Night Attack Chopper, this power represents the vehicle's impressive aerial agility. The Night Attack Chopper can either hover in place or fly at a top speed of 400 miles per hour, accounting for it's high Speed rating.
Heavy Machine Guns: the Night Attack Chopper's three heavy duty, rotary-barreled machine guns each can either fire a short burst of ammunition to inflict Excellent (20) Shooting damage, or be fired continuously to inflict Remarkable (30) Shooting damage.
Light Machine Guns: supplementing its heavy hitters, these two weapons are useful when dealing with small groups of infantry. They may either fire a short burst of ammunition to inflict Good (10) Shooting damage, or be fired continuously to inflict Excellent (20) Shooting damage.
Radar System: the Night Attack Chopper is armed with a sophisticated radar system, which emits electromagnetic waves into the environment, and can image items in the air or on the ground by their reflections. This system can identify objects with Good (10) ability (50 mile range).
Searchlight: mounted on the nose cone of the Night Attack Chopper, over its twin light machine guns, this powerful light can be used to spotlight a ground-based target or to light its way. It produces Remarkable (30) intensity illumination in front of the vehicle.
Stealth: the Night Attack Chopper is just that, a vehicle used primarily for nocturnal orientation. It has sound dampers that somehow act to muffle the racket its rotary-bladed operation generates, giving it the capability to avoid audible detection with Feeble (2) ability.
Wildfires: each wing of the Night Attack Chopper features a five-round, rotary-barrelled launcher. These are loaded with Wildfire missiles, which inflict the listed damage when striking singly, but add a +1 CS to the harm they inflict for each doubling of projectiles that hit:

2003 Variations
the Night Attack Chopper:
Though it received a new paint job in 2003, and thus a different use for during missions, the Night Attack Chopper retains its original name. While it now has a tan camouflage color scheme, as opposed to its original green and black camouflage decor, it otherwise works the same.
the Crimson Command Copter:
After being on the receiving end of punishment dished out by GI Joe's Night Attack Chopper, Cobra seized on the opportunity to return the favor when they captured a few. Given a red and black 'camouflage' paint job, this vehicle still functions the same, even if it now serves evil ends.
